A confidential address, designed as an elegant private mansion, in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, few step away from the Luxembourg Garden. Villa Madame owes its special atmosphere to the sure taste and creativity of interior designer Michel Jouannet. He is particularly attentive to identity and atmosphere. Great location, quaint rooms, updated amenities, beautiful bathrooms, delicious breakfast. Great deal! I traveled alone and felt safe and comfortable. Wonderful patio off my room! Would recommend to singles, girls trips and couples.

The rooms, the breakfast, and the staff are extraordinary. Tucked away on a side street in the 6e, it is a short walk to the Jardins du Luxembourg, neighborhood restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend.

This hotel claims to be 4-star but it falls very short of this. We had room No 51. It was adequate for our needs but certainly nothing special. A cupboard was cheap 'flat pack' style - unacceptable in a 4-star hotel and other furniture looked old and worn. The white bathroom tiling was damaged with grey/black marks making it look dirty and the floor/tiling/paintwork beside the bath and door looked old and unpleasant. The private outdoor terrasse we had with Room 51 was filthy with dead leaves and bird droppings including many on the sun bed and the many plants were nearly all dead or dying from lack of water. The maid didn't replace a used tea cup from the day before or replenish the supply of tea. Tea/coffee facililities were poor - no kettle, just a coffee machine using capsules which made dishwater tea. When we wanted to check out and pay the hotel couldn't use the card machine so we could not use a card. We had to then fill out a long form causing us to nearly miss the taxi which was waiting. Definitely not worth the money.

I had the worst experience with their reservation/front desk. They were rude and yelling when I asked to speak with the owner or GM. It was horrible. Instead of trying to solve the problem they just kept telling me the owner doesn't have time to speak with anyone. it was very unprofessional.

I cannot express how BAD was our interactions with Scott George. I witnessed him intimidating other guests. So I know we are not alone. He messed up our 4-day stay. Free breakfast didn’t compensate for his bad behavior.

Mr. Scott. You are not made for hospitality jobs. You are rude. Condescendent. Extremely unfriendly. Not capable to answer plain questions as ‘is breaksfast included’ or ‘can I get coffee and milk pods—> your reply: the hotel doesn’t provide any (breaking news: there are coffee machines in rooms that require pods and are provided.)
You couldn’t provide a second card for my husband.
You talked to me and other guests with some arrogance never seen before.

I have stayed in small names and big names hotels: I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional lobby staff. I asked you about your manager and you dared saying you were the manager.

You kept on talking about my companion even though I told you he was my husband.

What were you trying to do? Mess up my vacation: YOU DID it : for 2 full days I was enraged. I hope you’ll experience this kind of situation in your lifetime.

You said you are an American: where did you get trained? Speaking English doesn’t make you an American.

Have you ever seen and gone through great service in the hospitality business? Well my friend this is what America does best. You need SERIOUS training. You need the Prudhommes (French court) to check on you. You need your Manager to review your work. You are NOT MADE for this job. It’s a casting error. Your colleagues are 1000% better than you.

—> I don’t want to see you anymore in my life To Hotel Villa Madame Management: Do something. Act. I am not the only one who complain. You were present when other guests had miserable experience so the cards are in your hands. I talked to you. I am expecting an answer. An apology. And to all the guests that were mistreated (I witnessed 2 similar situations.)

Nice welcome act and support at my arrival. And indeed very interesting, welcome and friendly goodbye too. I enjoyed my time there pretty much. Won’t forget this short stay. Would book it again if I’d be coming back to Paris.

I ended up at Village Madame by chance, or should I say fāt. The lovely Villa Madame is a charming location and my first official introduction to Paris! I won't go into detail about what makes this place so special, but I will say that you will want for nothing. First and foremost, the decor, which is steeped in history! Behind the vintage photographs of lovely women adorned with tender devotion, we are reminded that while times change, wonderful people do not. Brimming with amenities, cleanliness, an awesome library and wonderful service. I was delighted that VM was an experience in itself. Stayed 5 days, I got warmth and excellent service! A quiet, slightly melancholic room where you must force yourself to leave or else you'll spend it rapt in your dream room. Not particularly luxurious (which is a good thing IMHO), yet brimming with charm, and allure. Villa Madame is a place where luxury and money isn't worth much here. I will return to Villa Madame precisely because of its spirit of simple, classic, authentic elegance. Hoping to return soon!! I’ll say it again, If you're a practical person who knows what they like and knows a good thing when they see it, this might be the place for you! However, if you expect to be waited on hand and foot on a silver platter, with a forced smile, keep looking. Truly, Marbella
