This hostel is located in a great area. Have metro, bakery, supermarket and drugstore near.
The staff is excellent. They help me in everything I needed :).
The bedrooms are clean and safe.
They have a great pub inside with kind people.
I stayed here for 3 nights. A school group had also checked in and they thought they owned the place. They were everywhere! I can't blame the hostel for this, but beware that young groups do stay. Security was good, key cards and lockable drawers...More
Although this hostel advertises that it is air conditioned, it is NOT. There is air conditioning downstairs in the check in area and in the hallways, but not in the rooms. The windows don't open more than 4 inches and I had a very uncomfortable,...More

This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to
the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.

I went walking around the Canal around 1-2am and felt very safe. There was actually a fair few people out and about, socialising and chilling out near the water. I also walked around quite late around the Crimee station area (nearest train station) with my female friend and felt safe. However it doesn't matter where you are in the world, you should always be careful and have your wits about you when out at night =)
