Despite the renovation works at the lower floors, which nevertheless did not bother at all, my stay at the Grand Hotel Chicago was amazing. Very clean, quiet and spacious room, coffee and tea boiler available, wide screen TV and well functioning WIFI. Definitely to recommend. I will surely come back and stay here once I get back to Paris.

Hotel's Favorite
Decent sized room with the usual amenities and courteous friendly staff. Good value for money. The location of the hotel is ideal too although the flip side of it is that getting a cab in the morning during office rush hour can be a bit daunting, pre-booking a taxi or a Uber will definitely help.

The staff in Mercure Paris, 17eme, was excellent. Always freindly. They advice us of places to go, metro to take and called a taxi at 3.3p am. The guy that was attending at that hour was specially kind with us. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for three nights last weekend. We took a walk around when we first arrived (after getting a taxi from CDG) to gather our bearings and found the neighbourhood to be a lovely place, with lots of places to eat and supermarkets around to stock up too. The Metro and bus station are both literally a five minute walk from the hotel - the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees are both 3/4 stops on the metro, with the Eiffel Tower only a few changes, so the hotel is in a fab location to visit the major attractions. The staff at reception were brilliant when we wanted to book tickets for the Arc De Triomphe, and went a step further for us when we needed to rearrange the date for our tickets to be used and called the bookings office for us - I had unfortunately sprained my ankle, and they were also fabulous in helping with a bag of ice immediately! We made use of the hotel’s handy Deliveroo room service as I was still struggling to walk, and the hotel let us borrow their ketchup too. When we needed to book a taxi transfer back to the airport, they were eager to help. Check in/Check out were both smooth processes. The only downside is the bathroom shower head - it’s impossible to get it at an angle where it stays on your head! The bathroom was a little narrow too but nothing that would put us off coming back in the future. We would definitely stay here again.
