There should be nothing to complain about this hotel. It is in a perfect location, a stone's throw from Notre Dame and yet in a totally quiet side street. The staff is very friendly, and the design takes full advantage (with its small rooms) of the architecture of the area. But, there's something that needs to be honestly pointed out,... More

Location great. Food fine. Decor innovative and fun. Day staff helpful. Little space, no shower. Great for very short stays only...unless you are very young and resilient! Our daughter kept awake by drunken, quarrelling guest. Night manager asleep and no help.

Stayed here for 3 nights, room was small but perfectly adequate for two people. Location was very good, close to the metro and many attractions are walkable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Plus there is a good bar at the end of the road and many decent restaurants nearby.

What a great little place to stay. Very central to most tourist needs. Two blocks from the bus stop for the big red hop on hop off tourist bus. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Small rooms and bath tub only dont expect a normal size shower. Totally adequate room if you are spending most time out and... More

A norwegian couple in the late 40 visited this hotel for 3 nights. Easy to find, close to metro and RER B (train for airport). IT is a small hotel with aprox 22 rooms. So the staff gave us good service and advices. The rooms and lobby is modern and smart decorated. As most of the hotellroms in Paris; we... More

135 euros one night is too much for a double bed in a three star with very tiny rooms. But the personel is nice, everything is clean, all service work well, the hall is very couzy and is right across Notre-Dame. It was right for the pourpose of passing one night in Paris.

I went to Paris in June 2014 for a couple's trip with my girlfriend (now wife). I had lived in Paris in college for a period of time and knew the city pretty well from that time. I chose Hotel De Notre Dame "Maitre Albert" for its close proximity to the Isle de Cite, Notre Dame, and other locations in... More

Like most of Paris hotels, the rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and the shower is very warm. It is a very quick walk to lots of restaurants and Notre Dame so a great location. There are loads of facilities here but the staff were very welcoming and a great base for getting out about and exploring this... More

This hotel would not suit everyone but we loved it. Authentic and individual. It was typically Parisian. The rooms were very individual and quirky, the location very central and the hostess/staff so warm and welcoming. The street itself had some interesting bars and eateries and I found the Shakespeare Book Company for the first time. Well worth a visit. If... More

I had the chance to spend a weekend in Paris and wanted to stay in a hotel that was close to the city center but not crazy in price as I was traveling on business. A friend recommended this hotel because of its proximity to Notre Dame and the St Germain shopping district. I took the subway train to the... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
