The Hotel La Comtesse provided this, we found it was best to book via the hotel directly, at the time we booked they were offering 10% discount on top of rates that were already cheaper that other booking websites. My husband and I stayed in one of their Duchesse rooms (room 601) and were able to upgrade to a balcony (they send you a questionnaire a view days before your trip and ask if you’d like the upgrade - this is an extra 40 euros per night), it was fabulous to have the balconys (we had two in our room) it’s worth noting that the other rooms (without balcony’s) seem to have large windows that would also be great if you didn’t want to spend the extra money! There are lots of great restaurants close by and also a metro station, although when we were there there was a train strike so it’s also convenient that there is a taxi stand across the street. There is also a little supermarket a street over that is 24/7 which sells wine, beer and other assorted products (it’s quite big). The staff were always friendly and made check in and check out easy and pleasant. We had a great breakfast here every day - the restaurant and staff were excellent. The view from the window of the Eiffel Tower was great - and the location in general was outstanding. The only minor problems were that the room was pretty small (space being at a premium in Paris I guess) for the money, was't always cleaned well, there were no USB points, and despite early check in being agreed some guests had left late leading to a few people being stranded without a room until later. - Curiosity7491051 contributionBest place to propose ever!We just had to write a review after we got engaged at this hotel during our recent stay (Thursday 11 August to Saturday 13 August). I had been planning our surprise trip to Paris for a couple of months and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful as the whole experience was one that we will never forget. Not only was the room prepared with champagne and flowers, the staff were fantastic to welcome us to the hotel and they played along with the surprise when needed. The room itself (605) was a dream. We have never stayed in a room with a better view - seeing the Eiffel Tower day and night was truly amazing - from the balcony and even from the shower! The hotel clearly made every effort to put us in a great room to make the proposal a special occasion and it was really appreciated. The location of the hotel is fantastic with a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and access to the local metro service, there are also some great restaurants nearby. We originally booked this hotel for its view. The view was everything it was described to be. Excellent view of the Eiffel Tower and walking distance to it. Great location. The room was very clean. A few complaints however. Upon our arrival at approximately 5pm, there was no service to bring our luggage to the room. Not a deal breaker for us though. We booked the classic double room baronne with window view of the eiffle tower by sticking head outside the window. For 2 people staying in the room, with 2 large luggages and 2 carry ons- the room was very tight, leaving very little room to walk. Better suited for 1 person staying. Further, we rarely use housekeeping services as we just try to keep the room tidy on our own. On one of the days, we left the room at 9:30am and were disappointed to find that upon our return at 2:30pm, our room wasn’t cleaned. We have traveled all over the globe, and stayed at many different hotels and have usually encountered our room to be cleaned in a timely fashion, earlier than this. We also didn’t find the staff to be friendly, which was our #1 issue. We called the reception desk morning of our departure to see if they could accommodate a late check out. We completely understand that that’s not always possible. The response from the man on the phone was “no, we’re fully booked tonight.” Very abrupt, poor delivery. It was a good stay, the hotel is in a great location, a beautiful place full of good vibes. Going out on a bike there is simple, with good bike trails on many routes. The rooms are small but very comfortable and above all very clean frankly we have nothing bad to say about this hotel. we loved every moment spent in this hotel the receptionists were very friendly with us always present to help.

Our vacation overall was the best vacation we've have ever had. That being said, Hotel La Comtesse had a lot to do with it. The morning breakfast in the cafe was an absolute delight. We looked forward to it everyday. The room was beautiful, the balcony view of the Eiffel Tower literally took our breath away but the BED. The bed the comforter the pillows....it was like sleeping on clouds. Thank you Hotel La Comtesse and staff for a WONDERFUL unforgettable vacation. I can't wait to see you again!

Booked this hotel for a quick stay in Paris on our way to Normandy. The breakfast is worth the money, the room was clean and comfortable and the view of the Eiffel Tour was exactly as described. The local eating options are plentiful and the location is perfect for days of sight-seeing. This hotel did not disappoint and I would suggest to anyone.

My favorite place to stay is Paris. The rooms are beautiful and clean with amazing views of the Eiffel Tour! The staff is professional and friendly, and always helpful and smiling.
