A really nice friendly hotel. Our room was nice over looking the rooftops. It was right in the heart of everything but not noisy. Parking although difficult to pause outside is easy at the parking napolean. You have to pay but it's only 12 euros a day through the hotel. We didn't eat in as there are lots of places... More

It's an older place, slightly rundown, but the rooms and bathrooms are nice sized. The bed was firmer than I'd prefer, but passable. Decent breakfast, albeit a limited selection. Excellent service though. Takes this place from a two star to a three star.

A truly lovely hotel in the heart of Fontainebleau and a stones throw from the château. Breakfast is a mix of continental and some hot food and is of a good quality. Room was clean and spacious, we opted for the city view which was a good choice. The only downside was the noise from the road as the windows... More

This hotel is in the centre of Fontainebleau. within walking distance of all the attractions, and set within a very 'french' town with interesting shops and streets. The decor is a bit tired, but the hotel has character. The breakfast was really excellent. great chice, with a view ovwe a lovely little courtyard. The staff were friendly, and overall our... More

Well - you have a roof over your head and it is warm. They serve fiod and breakfast in the morning and the location is very central and comveniant. Thats probably most neutral to describe. Rooms are old and shaby so I kept my socks on. The elevator was a true concern and all ways are dirty. Breakfast room was... More

The hotel is in a good location and close to everything (the palace, restaurants, shopping, etc.). The staff were polite and kind. The room and bathroom were in a good condition and clean. The room was facing a courtyard, which was beautiful.

I visited in July, which meant the noisy large air conditioner was useful. I had a cheap room in the eves of the building on the fourth floor. Access was via the enclosed garden and through a wedding reception then up an old lift. I was not given an option to drop off my bags so I had to leave... More

The hotel has an excellent location. Right in the city centre, close by parking (2 min away). Free wifi, that works everywhere in the hotel. BUT uncomfortable beds, dirty rooms, uncomfortable showers ( at least on the 3rd floor) my husband who is not that tall (1m80cm) could not fit into shower in room 311. Conditioner was leaking and the... More

We stayed only one night en route elsewhere, it happened to be the eve of the national holiday on 14th July - the hotel restaurant was already fully booked. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful and suggested where we would be able to find good restaurants open even though there was a party & picnic going on in... More
