We like the style of the hotel. It is in the middle of the city and is charming. Staff was very friendly and helped us with recommendations. We will come back to the hotel. It is not a luxury 5* hotel. But guess you know that when your booking. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Parking and Wifi is free...

This hotel is perfectly located, right near the main entrance to the Chateau, with the rest of the city an easy walk. Unlike another reviewer, I did not find parking to be a problem - the hotel provides free parking in an underground garage right across the street, and there is a large public lot about a block behind the...

My wife and I stayed here for two days while visiting our family (who live in Fontainebleu), for Christmas. At the time of booking there were no standard rooms available, so we booked a superior room. It was not cheap, but the standard of service and standard of the hotel in general was extremely high. Great breakfast, free parking, which...

We had a 4 night break at the Aigle Noir which lived up to all of our expectations. The hotel was superb as were the staff who all were friendly and attentive. We had a problem with the shower door on arrival in the room we were given. This was solved quickly and expertly by being upgraded to a superior...

Although perfectly located in the heart of charming Fontainebleau, the hotel's appeal stops there. Outdated, dark and dreary rooms, and malfunctioning bathrooms were highlights of the stay. There's no valet available with the closest parking in a public underground lot a good distance away - extremely inconvenient if carrying many bags or in my case, arriving and departing in high...

Great classic building right at the center of fontainebleau, right by the chateau, but inside hopelessly outdated and outmoded in terms of comforts and amenities, really needs a thorough make-over soon ... shame !

I loved this hotel. First of all, it's right across from the Chateau de Fontainbleau (be sure to see that!) and the hotel itself is so historic! Staying here is like stepping into the past - but in a good way. The place is beautiful with good attention to detail. The room was floor to ceiling French style wall paper...

Well maintained old hotel with different rooms size that give you the look of interior design of the chateau. The rooms are of different wall colors and moderate old design furniture. The wifi signal at my room was very low and the breakfast was fair. The location is the only thing i give 5 stars.

Fontainbleau --This hotel is conveniently located opposite entrqance to chateau fontainbleau. The bedroom is really spacious & wallpapered. The interior is in an elegant classic design . Good internet access. The breakfast seems to be a sumptous spread. The lobby has the softest & most comfortable upholstered sofas. Helpful staff Good recommendation for dinner-- try the good food at nearby...

We booked online due to review and close proximity to Fontainebleau. What a great place. Unfortunately upon check in our room had a problem, so the manager gave us two rooms for the original booking price of a shared room. The parking is steps away and the hotel pays for it. They suggested one of the three restaurants just next...
