There are not many hotel choices in Lods, so as a solo traveler I was extremely pleased to find such a comfortable and friendly place. Madame and Monsieur make all the difference with their hospitality. English is spoken here as well. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was first class. The location is right across the road...

We found this hotel during our road trip in France. Overlooking the beautiful lake, friendly service and cozy room we settled in for the night. Very quite little town but with a lot to offer. This little place also have restaurant specialising in serving local produce and include fresh trout. The lady looking after us was very friendly trying to...

This is without doubt the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Small and scruffy, all the furniture looked as if it had come out of a junk shop. There was a small double bed and two bedside tables, a chair and a desk with a sloping front so there was no where to place anything. I had to...

Lovely riverfront location, lots of promise, but sadly a very sombre experience. Dinner of 'Fresh Trout' a disappointment, overcooked, tasteless and without a single vegetable accompaniment, just a spoonful of mushy rice. Breakfast inadequate and overpriced. Stay here by all means but don't eat out and don't bother with breakfast. The little place in the village 2 mins up the...

Stunning location with frontage on the sparkling river Loue. Enjoyed very much our 5-day stay at ‘La truite d’or’, amazing location providing high standard of food. Owners made a big effort to make my birthday celebration a memorable event. We will come back!

A great hotel - nothing pretentious, comfortable, spotlessly clean with a certain charm in its simplicity. Great welcome, wonderful food and would certainly stay again. It was incredibly quiet despite being on the main road with plenty space and a good sized bathroom.

Touring France for two weeks. Before trip read reviews and wanted to stay here. So much so that booked through Logis booking line the morning we were in the area. We didnt eat there and that would have probably influenced my review, as it seems by all accounts food is very good. Breakfast wasn't particularly memorable. Our room was at...

Situated on main road overlooking the river, but no traffic noise issue. Lovely traditional hotel, with good size rooms (for all our bike gear) and good size bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has an outside terrace and the food was amazing and very good value. Breakfast again was excellent! Only had one night, but well worth another...
