Super-nice staff and fabulous location. Near waterfront but no traffic noise. Easy to walk to old citadel, famous churches, markets, etc. Final stop for Corsica hiking and kayaking trip through ROW Adventures Corsica Unbound.

The hotel was ok except for a few things. The shower separator is too small and regardless how hard you try water always floods the floor. Secondly which was the most disappointing thing for us was, we made a mistake and thought we were leaving on a different day to what we had booked. The guy behind the counter did... More

The man in the reception only spoke French. Hard to get him understand that my room was HOT even though the booking included ac. Had to change room. The next day I was told that I had to change room again because I had been given a room with a sight. All this without an excuse.

We stayed at this hotel to be close to the ferry for an early morning departure, it is listed as a 3 star but it is definitely 2 star quality. The rooms are so small that 2 people can't move around at one time, very poor soap dispenser, no hairdryer in room, a poorly designed hand held shower. The room was... More

Conveniently situated in the old city 3 blocks from the Place Saint-Nicolas, this hotel has clean, bright rooms. This was our second stay. We like Room 690, on the third floor, with a big window overlooking the entrance of the harbor, where we watched the ferries come and go. The bathroom also has a big window (a loo with a... More

We liked our stay at Hotel Posta Vecchia. The reception lady was very helpful and gave us useful hints to visit Bastia. Location is perfect, it's walking distance to near everything. The rooms are a little small but we are not demanding. They know who's in their room or not because they are asking your key when you leave! WiFi... More

I chose this hotel last year and remembered that is was a pleasant experience and so decided to return this year. I am glad I did. Firstly the staff are wonderful. I arrived very early and did not expect to check in until the afternoon - I really just expected to leave my suitcase - but - the lovely receptionist,... More

The hotel is close to thebeach next to some night clubs. On the night I stayed there, the night clubs kept up a rock concert to 2AM. It was like being inside the speakers of a big amplified band. This hotel fails to assure the minimum in service of any hotel, a nights sleep.

Very good for a 3 star. The staff were very helpful as most people in Bastia don't speak any English. They advised of activities & good restaurants! The location was great as we did not have a car all the time. (I would recommend that you rent a car). The breakfast was basic but delicious. The room was small but... More

Amenities that exist are substandard or non-existent. Bathroom badly designed- toilet too close to sink & shower useless. No toiletries, no hairdryer, & towels poor quality. Wifi hopeless- poor connectivity & very slow. No lift in our section of hotel. Wardrobe poor quality. The only redeeming features are location, rooms with sea view & cleanliness. How this hotel achieves any... More
