This hotel is well located within walking distance of the main sights of Ajaccio. The staff was very friendly and helpful; a couple spoke English. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable with nice windows. A very comfortable bed too! There is parking on site for a fee, but the neighborhood parking is free on Sundays so we didn't utilize it.
On a business trip, my clients had recommended this beautiful charming hotel located in the center of Ajaccio, very warm welcome, beautiful well decorated room, good bedding, good wifi, and good breakfast, excellent value for money
I came with a friend who lives in the south of Corsica, he introduced me to his island with passion and love, this little hotel was charming and the staff were charming, its location was convenient so as not to have to use the car, I have good memories
Our room was not spacious but fine. On the other hand the bathroom was really tiny and quite old fashioned. No fridge and coffee maker. Welcoming staff. Basic toiletries were provided. The hotel is very conveniently centrally located. Overpriced but worthy for a 1 night stay.
I picked this for price and location. Glad I pre booked the hotel parking area in advance for 10 euros. I only stayed one night and all staff were very nice and helpful. Didnt have breakfast as dont tend to spend that amount on breakfast when there are so many other just as good and much more economical options nearby. Thought the room was great except for the outdated all in one bed unit of built in backboard and side tables. It was the smallest room I stayed in during my week travelling around corsica. Overall very good.
The most helpful hotel staff we met. Brilliant location. Even the (apparently unrelated) taxi driver raved about it. Room was spotless - and very comfortable - breakfast fantastic. Highly recommended.
Admittedly I didn't see any other rooms as reception said the hotel was full although when I checked there was availability on most sites. However cell 104 was the worst room I have ever experienced...the room itself was small but fine.... however where glass windows should be it has two steel security shutters ...difficult to open but revealing in close proximately wet mouldy litchen covered concrete walls and steps with broken branches. Incredible....can only damage the brand that the hotel actually sells this room..no apologies from reception on checkout
This was a great budget hotel near everything (sights, restaurants, train and bus station); it also had a great breakfast. No complaints. Very helpful front desk knowledgeable about public transport to the beaches. Highly recommend.
Napoléon would be proud to know that in the city of his birth, the hotel that bears his name is such a pleasant, clean, comfortable and efficiently run place to stay. The location is excellent: about 10 minutes’ walk from the station which is also near the stop for the bus from and to the airport. Many of the major sights (including Maison Napoléon where he was born) and the beach are also within easy walking distance. Probably the only things stopping this hotel from being 4 star are that the rooms are not especially large (but quite adequate) and there’s no fridge in them. In every other way it’s as good as a 4 star with everything of the highest standard: the whitest of good quality cotton bed linen and towels, clean, comfortable rooms and a good buffet breakfast. Service is welcoming throughout. Frédéric on reception, who is so dedicated to his job that he never seems to go home, was particularly helpful. Wifi took seconds to log onto and the connection was good and strong, as was the aircon. My room was on the seventh floor and looked to have been recently refurbished with fabric upholstered walls and plush carpet; the beautifully-finished bathroom, with one of the biggest and best walk-in showers encountered anywhere in years of travel, would do any higher rated hotel proud. I booked directly on-line in advance. I had an enjoyable three nights here and it was outstanding value for money.…
I stayed here for the start of the GR20 hiking. I chose the hotel because of the location. It is only 10 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood is quite pleasant and it's close enough to the main attraction for Ajaccio. I got a good price for a summer time stay so I'm happy with that. The hotel is typical european hotel with small size. For single person stay it should be fine. However everything was working fine. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was continental buffet breakfast but they had good choices for that. I would recommend the hotel for the location and price.
