delighted by the service and welcome; the hotel faces the marina where I embarked as <i left my car in the garage, they gave me the room as soon as I got back, helped me in various ways:teh room was nice, the terrace on 6th floor has a superb view to spend the waiting hours before embarking ! the staff... Overpriced for what it is, this hotel lacks charm. Separated from the port by a busy road and a railway line, the photos on the website aren't an accurate representation. I had an expensive superior room, which at nearly 400 euros without breakfast or parking was too much. To be fair, the staff on the check in desk were lovely,... More

We had a privilege junior suite, good size room with harbour view, but the bathroom sorry shower room was very very small (could not have been any smaller) no hair shampoo or conditioner. plastic cups replaced sometimes. The location is 25mins walk from town centre (not 10min as some say) The area is not the smartest. Reception staff whist trying... More

Very good hotel, in walking distance (10 minutes) from down town. This might also explain why they contrary to normal Mercure's don't have a restaurant for dining. Super breakfast - as always. Superb view from top terrace and if you are lucky also from the rooms. Only downside was the missing traditional shampoo+conditioner.

A good and convenient city hotel, at a walking distance to marina, harbor and city center. The hotel location was crucial for us since we were searching for a hotel near the city harbor, due to our early ferry connection in the next day. It’s a small, good and convenient city hotel, the rooms are small but well equipped and... More

Not a particularly big hotel but it has secure parking and lovely staff. Well worth shelling out extra for an upper floor room as the views over the marina and the bay are great. The rooms are comfortable (lovely beds) but the bathrooms are looking a little dated. Its about 15 minutes walk to the Old Town but there are... More

Our room was a spacious junior suite with windows that opened to a wonderful harbor view. The owner, who splits his time between Paris and Ajaccio, is an architect and designed the hotel! He did a good job of it. Breakfast is served in the ground floor dining area which doubles as a small bar in evenings. Many of our... More

I do not understand how this hotel is rated 4 star. Whilst the rooms are a reasonable size and clean it lacks the amenities usually associated with a 4 star hotel, e,g, there is no safe in the room, no mini bar - in fact there isn't even a fridge in the room where you could put your own drinks.... Small, comfortable, tastefully decorated fresh room. Comfortable bed. No safe in room. Good shower in roomy bathroom. Allowed us early check in which was great. Tea and coffee facilities in room a big plus for uk visitors! Rooms are a bit noisy in that you can hear everyone coming and going in the corridor, but it didn't spoil our stay.... More

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: broadly speaking you know where you are with the Mercure chain: nothing fancy but clean, comfortable rooms and good value. However, I have to say that I do not understand why this particular one is rated 4*. Apart from a nice harbour view, our room on the 5th floor (slightly bigger... More
