Couple stayed two nights in late June. Lovely, beautifully restored old town house in the centre of the city. A short walk to the main shopping drag and so on. It's a BnB more than a hotel. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and, given the heat, the hosts had thoughtfully provided a fan in the bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and everything worked! Breakfast was a continental style breakfast with croissant, bread, etc. Very nice bread! On the morning we were leaving the hosts (Véronique and Renaud) were kind enough to bring breakfast forward 20 minutes so we could get off to the Eurotunnel home. Véronique and Renaud are excellent hosts, speak excellent English and were very happy to provide recommendations about eating in Reims and also about the wider Champagne area. They do apparently have a parking garage but it was booked by another couple so we were directed to a public car park (Parking CPA Buirette) a short distance away. The headline rate is €16 per 24 hrs. However, it's worth noting that you can pre-pay for (in our case) 48 hours and the rate drops dramatically and you can come and go as you please - so long as there is space! Stick your ticket in the machine after you've entered, select the pre-pay for 2+ days and pay and then make sure you use the same ticket to exit and re-enter. A nice chap in the adjacent office helped us so, if in doubt, don't be afraid to ask! I have no hesitation in recommending you stay here and it's a clear 5*!…
4 of us stayed two nights in two rooms at this great little B&B. We easily reserved via email through the website. The hosts are a very nice couple who welcomed us into their family house, and being longstanding locals, they gladly helped with directions and recommended dining. The B&B rooms, on the front side of the house up a flight of stairs, were large and very clean, the beds comfortable, and the size of the ensuite bathroom was also above average. The continental breakfast was just right for us and the coffee was excellent. The 4 of us used the dining area to enjoy a bottle of, you guessed it, local champagne and we enjoyed the fact the owners visited with their children and grandchild in the adjacent living room. We opted for their parking in a secure garage just across the street, our large van managed to fit just fine, which made it very convenient. The location is excellent, a block or so to the pedestrian street and just several blocks to the cathedral and square. The photos on TA are accurate and we highly recommend B&B Les Telliers.…
We spent three nights at Les Telliers while in the area to tour WWI battlefields and cemeteries. Was a terrific, authentically French experience with gracious hosts, Veronique and Renaud, who worked very hard to accommodate us and our schedule. Lovely traditional French breakfast in the beautiful library/parlor.
We booked the room directly through the website, so perhaps we would have had a better experience if we had booked through a third party. The location is excellent. You can walk to all sights and activities in Reims. Our hostess did not speak much English but tried hard to communicate with us. She gave us tips for dinner, much appreciated. The room was clean with a fan that took a while to work. There was a nice bathroom. Other than that, there wasn't much more to the place. At night we had to use our cell phone flashlight to climb the stairs to our room for all lights were turned off. There was not a common space for guests, just the bedroom up two flights of stairs. Breakfast was continental style, coffee, a cup of yogurt, a cup of applesauce, croissant, small loaf of bread, butter and jams, orange juice served in what seemed to be their private living room.…
A really beautiful home close to the centre of Reims. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very nice with homemade jams but was just continental. No tv in the rooms which was fine for us but would be nice. The wooden floors and stairs were beautiful but a bit noisy especially for those below. There is tea and coffee in the room and bottles of water but the cheap plastic water cups were a shame and let the side down. The bathroom was fine with a nice shower and a good hairdryer provided. The owners were lovely and very helpful.
