This was the second time we stayed at this exquisite hotel. Every single thing is wonderful. The prestige rooms are simply amazing. All the staff from start to finish are happy to help with anything and go over and beyond. The barman Steven made our evening extra special. We can’t wait to come back again. 10/10
What a joy it was to drive to France two weekends ago, leaving Bristol in time to arrive for lunch on the terrace. We love, love this hotel and it never fails to disappoint. The bedrooms are divine and so gloriously French. The food at Le Parc is sublime and the view wonderful. The staff, duly masked, were as charming as ever and it did feel so very good to be back. Breakfast at this hotel is one of my favourite treats. The stiff white linen, the beautiful array of compotes, jams, pastries, fresh fruit is just a joy to behold.
The property and accomodations at Domaine Les Crayeres are truly beautiful. Or room was very large and overlooked the park with the old town and church in the distance. The service was perfect in every respect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Both dinner and breakfast at Le Parc were truly memorable. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
We had problems booking this through Relais et Chateaux to begin with and have since asked them to follow up our complaint with the hotel, they have been beyond useless but that is another story. The first evening of our stay (the booking was through grand hotels on a very good d,b & b deal my husband managed to find as R&c had not held our booking- fair enough). The next day our family arrived, we were in three top price chateaux rooms - dinner needed to take account of our various dietary needs and inspite of several conversations with the overbearing and unpleasant hotel manager and her staff we were put into a pokey corner at the back of the restaurant and my son had two courses omitted from the 5 course menu as I’d asked for very plain food like children would enjoy- just to make the hotel’s catering easier. The whole event was completely ruined by the rudeness of this unpleasant woman and total lack of common decency and unprofessional way we were dealt with. I have spent months trying to get a response from the management of the hotel via relais et chateaux and have now given up, but perhaps this review will get the answer I have been seeking- why did they make a really special Occasion a complete misery? I would steer well Clear if you are planning a celebration there.…
We were here for a romantic valentine’s day getaway. The hotel is walking distance from the town center as well as a few champagne houses. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. We stayed in a two-room suite in the cottage that was quaint and romantic. On the evening of Valentine’s day, we received a beautiful chocolate sculpture in our room and a bottle of champagne. The lounge is a great place to have a drink and relax. It has an extensive list of champagnes on offer. The front desk was able to arrange a car service to take us to Paris as well as inquire about touring a local champagne house. The hotel is a little on the pricey side, but the rooms and service are well worth it.
