This time we booked a table for a dinner. Indeed, it was full and mostly by locals plus few tables with tourists. Good menu and very good local food. Everything, we ordered, was tasty, incl kids food. We did not expect something special from a very local restaurant, but we will probably go back on our next champagne trip.

We always use this place as a pitstop on our way back to the UK from France. Staff are helpful, rooms are clean and the entire hotel oozes character of the region. The food is amazing, the €35 4+ course meal is too substantial for me and even fills up my husband. The children’s meals are good value also. I highly recommend buying their in-house champagne, which we always buy for gifting as it’s great value. Breakfast is great value and sets is up nicely for the onward journey. We will be back next year 😊

The Auberge Champenoise is situated 200m from our destination! There is an interesting collection of items associated with the Champagne industry inside the hotel. Overall some modernisation would be good. The shower in our room was very small, however the room was comfortable to sleep in. Large free car park, locked at night.

An outstanding hotel for the group of 50 odd British Army veterans I have brought last three years for a 4 night stay. Extremely helpful pre our visit re arrangements, room numbers etc. Friendly staff, good restaurant where we have a group dinner one evening, unbeatable price compared to the nearby chain hotels. Coach driver sleeps and eats FOC. Moussy is ideal for getting to places we visit and for nights out in Epernay. I cannot fault this hotel. First class.
