The best part of our two-week trip to France may have been staying in Le 25 bis. From the staff and their hospitality to the absolutely stunning rooms and the easy access to the best Champagne houses in the world, it was an exquisite experience. The room was amazing - huge windows we opened and enjoyed the scents of lush vegetation, while reading/relaxing in comfy, oversized furniture, soaking in the luxurious bathtub to rewind after a day of walking and tasting, and always a delicious breakfast to start your day. And while you are surrounded by the largest Champagne houses in the country, the biodynamic wines from LeClerc Briant hold their own and rise above the mass producers. I would come back here in a heartbeat to again experience the wonderful hospitality of the team at 25 Bis.

We always love sitting in the beautiful courtyard of Leclerc Briant on the Avenue the Champagne and therefore last December (2018) us three Ladies just simply had to visit the House/production site of Leclerc Briant and are so glad we did! We had such a wonderful experience. Having been to "bigger" (in number) houses before which were interesting but in comparison this house was far more fascinating as it is operating with such attention to detail it’s incredible. We were warmly greeted by the very charming as well as very knowledgeable Leonie who showed and explained with great patience their unique biodynamic production of Champagne. I know it sounds odd but it was very “zen” like/calm walking through the different stages of production and unlike other house it all felt authentic rather than just “set up nicely for marketing”. The tasting afterwards was a nice ending to a very special tour.

We discovered when we did a tasting at the cellar door along Avenue of Champagne in last Feb . Back then, they were renovating the rooms and started the Bed and Breakfast later in April. This year, we booked ourselves four nights here because of it strategic location and the novelty of staying in a Champagne House. The reception is beautiful decorated with modern touches while retaining the heritage of the house. Checking in is like visiting a friend, we sat on the sofa and over drinks (choice of coffee, tea, water or our staple, champagne🥂) After a brief introduction of the staff and the hotel premise, we were give the keys to our suite (they call it bed room but it’s huge, 47m2) Windows open up to their garden and overlooking the vineyards. En-suite bathroom is completely remodel with Carrara white marble tile works & chrome detailings. It comes with a luxurious bathtub, rain shower, separated toilet, Hermès amenities and Champagne Leclerc Briant embroidered bathrobes and hand towels. Also, complimentary half bottle of Brut Reserve along with other standards in the mini bar Breakfast spread was very generous and personal, taking notes our allergies and preferences. Emmanuelle and Morgan were very sincere and helpful, sharing with us their knowledge about champagne history, methods and styles of different houses. Out of the many hotels we stayed in Epernay during our pass 4 visit, this is the one we will look forward to stay again the next time we visit,

My wife and I stayed in Epernay in late December for two nights, before heading on to Paris. Le 25 bis is near the top of Avenue de Champagne, adjacent to some of the most famous champagne houses in the world. The hotel is attached to the wine shop and tasting room of Leclerc Briant, a small organic producer with an interesting selection of really, really good champagne. (The tasting is worth a visit by itself, and was an even better experience, for us, than famous producers nearby.) The hotel is small - 5 rooms - and features and interesting blend of traditional French style (the breakfast room has a detailed, 19th century-style mural) with modern touches (stylish Bluetooth enabled radios in the rooms; modern fabrics). Rooms and the wine shop / tasting area appear recently renovated to a high standard, in a way that respects the historical building. Our room, number 5, was set on two floors with a large loft-style bedroom and a separate, gorgeous bathroom down a private hallway. Breakfast was included with the room and was the best breakfast we had in France. Fresh baked goods from the bakery down the street, eggs made to order, meats and cheeses, juices and champagne... even a homemade lemon cake courtesy of Helene, the manager! By far the highlight of the visit was the personalized service that we received. Helene and Morgane arranged for dinner reservations at great local places; Helene taught us about the history of the champagne producers in the region, and made reservations for us to visit one. Such a great experience at this hotel!

We stayed at 25Bis for just one night and it certainly was not enough. Our stay there was the highlight of our trip - the room was stunning (and HUGE!) and came with a complimentary half bottle of champagne. The bathroom was impeccably clean and fitted with Hermes products and super comfy plush bathrobes and towels. Morgane was helpful and hospitable from beginning to end. We had the pleasure of tasting in the Wine Shop and were served by Emmanuel who was so knowledgable and friendly. Everything about 25Bis is charming and pristine. THANK YOU!
