Stayed at a number of French campsites this summer and this is one of the better ones. Offers excellent value for money, large green shady pitches, clean facilities regularly cleaned, helpful reception (english speaking, free wifi and able to walk into the centre of Epernay!

Spent 2 nights here in our campervan on our way to Italy and we loved it so much we booked for the way back too! Good sized pitches with the privacy of a hedge around. Pitch 48 had a great view of the lake and was shady. Toilets and showers very clean but you do need to take your own... More

Fantastic region for champagne experience and some reasonable cycling routes if you look for them. The campsite in need of some TLC but generally quiet and maintained to a reasonable standard. Pitches with electric good but some devout of sunshine so be selective and maybes check before payment, I get impression high turnover so potentially no need to book, we... More

This was our third camping site I the champagne region and by far the best. We had to prolong the visit here because of The beautiful area and the campsite. Love it here. The staff: really friendly on arrival and spoke good English. They are also knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave us great advice to places to see... More

Campground bordered by sporting fields, just 15 min walk from city center. Well maintained, some pitches with high bushes for privacy. Free wifi but very slow for what seemed to be everywhere! Warm, not hot showers, and was the same for washing dishes. Good value for the price but given lack of hot water we had to leave earlier than... More

Chose to stop here for our last night before heading back home to tunnel. Lovely site, staff speak good English, ground was a bit boggy due to the heavy rain they have had. Walk into town about 15 mins, fantastic town capital of the champagne region.

We stayed here in order to visit the famous champagne houses and the local vineyards. The campsite is well equipped, though a little noisy being based between the train station (does not operate over night) and sports area (again, not in constant use) and being frequented by many other tourists also partaking in the local tipple. Saying that, we were... More

Arrived here on a 45 degree night, loving simple camp ground. Great restaurant on the water with a lovely wine selection and simple french menu. Walk into town in about 30 minutes and cafe four about 15 minutes walk away. If its hot ask for a more shaded space.

I arrived early one morning in September to be greeted by Fabrice and his lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble and maps and advice were on tap to suit all tastes. My French needs a lot of work but the staff speak good English, have a great sense of humour and can't do enough for you. The site was... More
