Very nice budget hotel with big pretty rooms. Pura had a view in a small internal courtyard and garden. The location is excellent. Less than five minutes from The cathedral (The must see in Tours!) and a bit more from Vieux Tours, The oldest part Of The city with cobbled streets and timber framed houses. Ti is possible to park... More

Unfortunately we were late to Checkin but Oliver very kindly came back to let us in. Really nice rooms, great street and easy walk from station. Oliver was very friendly - would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Tours. Unfortunately couldn't stay longer.

I stayed here two nights on a recent cycling trip in the Loire valley. It made a very pleasant stop over - very convenient for the town, comfortable and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Wi fi worked well and there was space to store the bike. The hotel offers good value and I'd happily stay there again.

Delightful young owners, speaking excellent English. Very good value - comfortable bedroom, brilliant location in the centre of old Tours and delicious petit dejeuner! BUT make sure you ask for a room at the back - rooms overlooking the street are very noisy so I'm told - until the small hours, starting again with the rubbish lorry early in the... More

Great location in the pedestrianised old town. Short walk to the cathedral and underground parking. Tram stop a few minutes walk. Bars, restaurants all around. The host was charming and helpful. Simple continental Breakfast.

The location is excellent. It's less than a 15 minute walk from the railway station - no need for a taxi. It's also close to the centre - 10 minutes and about 5 minutes from the Cathedral and the river. It's on a great street for restaurants, especially if you want a change from a typical French menu. There are... More

We're in the middle of Euro 2016 as I write, so I've given this review a football cliché. Hotel Colbert is a frustrating mixture of good and bad, too. Location is great - within walking distance of all the sights and just about anywhere you'd want to eat. But location is lousy, too, if you have a room at the... More

Really well situated in the old town close to the cathedral, river and many restaurants. We had a great welcome when we arrived and there were staff on hand to get our luggage up the steep stairs and were very helpful.. The room was comfortable and clean. Our room looked over the garden and was very quiet. I would be... More

Such a nice surprise in the old centre. We set the reservation without any reference. Upon the arrival everything was just set, the room is spacious and newly renovated, shower is top after a long day sightseeing. Breakfast for me was just enough without that big buffet from big hotels. Thanks Olivier keep it up.

We only stayed at this hotel one night on the way down to Basque Country but it was a great location with friendly owners. The only issue is parking since the hotel is so central and on a pedestrian zone (positive actually) but making it necessary to find parking in a nearby public parking area. When we next go to...
