Stayed one night as an overnight stay. Handy for centre of town and next to the railway station. Stayed on second floor looking out onto main road but heard no external noise. Had a decent size room and had a good night sleep. Room was clean and had no complaints. Manage to get a free car parking spot. There are... More

This is my second time in this hotel and I select it purely because of the location. It is very close to central railway station. Rooms are spacious and beds are ok. But the hotel has not tried to offer anything above standard: breakfast is limited, no gym, wlan is weak and so on. It would be a crime to... More

Both the hotel itself, and Accor corporately, have a serious attitude problem. I made the mistake of ignoring this advice. After a poor breakfast and a morning’s sightseeing I returned to my room, booked for two more days, and paid for, and which I had left locked, to find that all my stuff had been thrown out! Apparently the staff... More

Low end business hotel better suggested for backpackers instead or people on a budget Barely clean room, surely outdated Pathetic breakfast in the morning (they should not offering it at all instead or provide a coupon for a nearby cafe) I am sure there are better choice around

This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. Our bicycle was garaged in a secure underground carpark. Whilst a glitch in the booking system had bumped our reservation off, we were delighted once the error was acknowledged and given an upgrade. The room was magnificent - extremely spacious with a large separate seating area, king-sized bed,... More

As others have said, this is a great place. We are in our late 60s and travelling around France by train for three months. This was a welcome stop and will be remembered. An easy walk to the station, restaurants and old city although a bit dark and dingy late at night. Thanks to all the friendly staff especially Melanie.

Me and my girlfriend from Dublin came over for a couple of days and stayed in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to all the major touristic attractions from the hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning. The bed was absolutely fantastic (the staff told us they got recently... More

We picked this hotel, as we were travelling by train from Paris to Tours. It is located just next to the train station. Although not very central, it is a nice stroll to walk from the hotel to the cathedral and the old town. The hotel is like any other Mercure hotel, although that one is closer to an Ibis... More

All you'd expect from a mercure. Centrally located and with parking. Amazing blonde receptionist whose customer service made us feel like we were the most impotant guests ahed met that year, very friendly and professional.

This was quite a surprise, unlike any Mercure Hotel we have stayed in before (or since). The price is lower than some but the quality is even lower. There was no curtain to the shower so the bathroom floor flooded and, as the extractor fan wasn't working, everything steamed up - including the rest of the room when we opened... More
