This is maximum a 3 star hotel in a international competition. Horrible bed, noisy, average breakfast and a horrible outside. The only good thing we noticed was the really nice guy in the reception and that the superior room was big and that they accept dogs. The bar/reception and dining area looks like it bit designed by santa Claus on... More

During a business stay in Orléans, I had the pleasure to be accomodated at this Hotel. I used Booking.com for my reservation and the price was about 80€ per night, not including breakfast which could be arranged directly (18€ buffet or 8€ express). The location of this Hotel is within walking distance of the city, right next to the river... More

I had never been to Orleans, so chose this hotel as my evening stop over. The hotel is very convenient for access from the motorway and then to walk into town. Orleans is full of history and well worth a visit. The staff at the hotel were great and dinner at the brasserie was very good. I am very happy... More

Close to the centre and easy access from the autoroute. Rooms very comfortable, parking good and secure. Having travelled all day we ate in the restaurant, very poor and when I told the waiter the main course was not good he showed no interest whatsoever. However breakfast was excellent with wide choice.

Overall is an average Mercure hotel with decent rooms, but really nothing special. The name, to start is "Orleans Centre" but this is really misleading, is nearby the river BUT definitively not in the centre of the town! Rooms was clean but not really spotless. The parking gate was broken and my car satyed in the parking all night basically... More

If you are traveling by car this hotel is located very conveniently. It has a rather large car parking behind the hotel which is only accessible for hotel guests. Our room was fine with a nice view on the city and cathedral, it was clean, had a good bed and a rather small but functional bathroom. As we were no... More

Hotel has two car-parks. Use outdoor one which is half price. Whilst usually secured by a barrier this had been broken- area was supervised by security guards. Receptionist spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Room- comfortable and what one would expect from Mercure. View was lovely- could look over both the Loire and see the cathedral. A room near the top floor will be quieter and also offer the best chance of a good view over the river. Driving into the hotel is a bit of a challenge from the riverside. The hotel seems to look after numerous touring coach parties, and the number of people in the hotel areas can be a bit overwhelming.

For years we have come to Mercure. And it is a good hotel for 1/2 nights. Rooms are fully equipped. Nothing to luxurious, but everything you need. AC, bath, hair dryer, water boiler for complementary tea and coffee. Good breakfast, a bit expensive, nice pool. A very good hotel for "French standards" .

“My kids (28 and 22 yrs old)took one double BR overlooking the hotel parking, a garden and a good angle of the river view, they loved the room size and amenities, and walked happily the 15 minutes to Orleans downtown. My Wife and I had a privileged room overlooking the river, beautifully designed and well furnished, with a Jacuzzi.”
