We sadly spent only one night here, because we would have enjoyed more time in this lovely hotel. Our room, while on the street, was very quiet and quite large, and we entered it from a sweet and well-tended garden area. We enjoyed the large shower, though we did find that lack of a curtain or door of any sort... More

We booked after deciding to visit the chateau. I chose the hotel based on reviews and they were accurate. We were upgraded and the room was good, and very good value. We ate dinner which was excellent, but did not take the breakfast.

La Roserie is an old hotel of character in the heart of Chenonceaux. We stayed in room 17 which is their accessible room. The bedroom and shower room were large and airy and despite facing the road we were not bothered by external noise. The shower room was well adapted with a wet room style shower with grab rails, and... More

A pleasant, small hotel with a nice garden and on-site parking. Easy walk to the chateau. Boulangerie next door. We had a choice of second floor walkup (3rd in US terms) or ground floor. We chose wrong. The ground floor room had no ventilation except for the window on the street. Otherwise, the bed was good and it was quiet... More

We are still here and you MUST join us. This hotel is beautiful in both its setting and the quality of its staff. But the best part is the set menu in the evening. For €29 I had a superb pâté, a brilliant fish main course and tarte tatin, with coffee to finish. We leave in the morning but Room... More

The dining space is relatively spacious (if a little heterogeneous in its decoration), the staff helpful and the food (lamb loin and cheese board) and wine were good without being special. This may be a restaurant to watch, and probably merits 3.5 stars.

This is a charming hotel in a good position. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. The whole local area is fascinating, both the history and the wine growing. Our visit was not all plain sailing but the pluses outweighed the minuses. Our rooms were large and furnished in French rural style. TV and plenty of storage space provided. The... More

Clean, perfectly located for the chateau and with very friendly and helpful staff. We stopped enroute to the Dordogne and we're pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Nice rooms that were clean and quiet with the use of a pool as an extra befit. The food in the restaurant was good if a little over priced but given the smallness of... More

On our way to Lyone we stayed at this wonderful Hotel La Roseraie just a few blocks from the chateau in Cheonceaux France. Our room was spacious, the a/c worked great and wifi was wonderful. What more can you want. The staff was great and took care of our every need. Just around the corner was an incredible patisserie that made... More

Received an excellent welcome on arrival. Service through out our stay was excellent both in hotel and restaurant. Meals were very good. Lovely room. Lovely grounds and surroundings. Having visited the chateau at Chenonceaux previously, on this occasion visited Cheverny and also spent a day in Tours. Would highly recommend this establishment
