When we arrived at the hotel our greeting could not have been warmer. Our room was in the main building and was large and beautifully furnished. The shower was particularly wonderful. We had not booked dinner in the restaurant but we had a quick look around the town and couldn't see anything we thought was outstanding, so we decided to... More

We arrived mid afternoon and were warmly greeted by the staff. Our traditional room was in the building to the rear of the main hotel across a courtyard. It was very traditional with exposed beams and high ceilings but unfortunately a window that was set quite high up the wall. The floor plan was a bit odd in that there... More

We stayed for one night during our bike trip thru the Loire Valley. Lovely hotel in a great location with helpful staff. Our room was in the attic of this old post house and we really enjoyed it. Room and bathroom were quite large and super quiet. Bathroom had a bath tub as well. We also ate dinner at the... More

This place was pure magic and ambiance. Excellent location. Great privacy. Huge, beautiful room with lovely furniture and a romantic view. I would go back any day. Lovely patio to enjoy a glass of wine at night.

All hotels should learn something from Eric, the owner. Great guy, highly responsive and helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights while touring Loire valley. We were trap in Plithiviers due to the recent floods that led to the closure of the A10. We wrote to Eric for alternative ways to get to Azay from Paris and he replied with... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel with a group of family and friends. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated and was very comfortable with generous bathrooms, lovely restored rooms and extra touches like free wifi. We had dinner in the restaurant and I would highly recommend. The owner and his staff were very welcoming and obviously take great... More

Very attentive staff, great location, rooms and food, we booked the Discovery Package and feel this is good value for money. It was our second time at the hotel and we would go back. Eric was very helpful and the staff were all very friendly. My mother in law was upgraded and we were all made to feel very welcome

This is a really charming hotel, and it feels like it was renovated recently. It has the lovely feel of the past, having been converted from a 18th century coaching inn, but the decor and design and furnishings all feel clean, modern and contemporary. The staff are absolutely lovely. Our room, with its super comfy bed, great shower and space... More

We were in Azay le Rideau and ended up staying here two nights. Great service and staff. The restaurant was excellent. Quiet place to rest in a great village as you visit chateaus in The Loire. Location is in the center of town and you an walk to the Chateau. Also very close to Sache. We will return without hesitation.
