Old residence, surrounded by a tedious garden, hardly just grass. Adequate pool. Very nice lounge. Average breakfast with pre-baked bread, calculated and unfeeling. We stayed 4 nights. Room 4 (chambre tradition): Small, just equipped with a small writing table and a kitchen chair. Bathroom: toilet, shower in deep bathtub, single washstand. Too simple for € 160.00, excl. breakfast. Room 6... More

We stayed here on our way down to Cenac en St. Julien, the accommodation was lovely, we were greated to a friendly welcome and had a lovely meal in Amboise, the breakfast was to die for! Would highly recommend staying here, as a stopover or as a base to visit the Loire.

We last stayed a Le Manoir Saint Thomas in 2012 and decided to use a stop in Amboise to break up the longish drive between Toulouse and Paris. The property remains as we remembered it; well appointed, spacious rooms, outstanding facilities, free private parking and great air conditioning! And it is remarkably secluded for being close to the heart of... More

We stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding in a chateau nearby. It's a beautiful old property in a fantastic location in central Amboise (which is a very charming town). Our room was a good size and very comfortable, and immaculately clean. The pool area is very nice and quiet and offered a pleasant afternoon snoozing. The hotel... More

We loved our 5-night stay in the junior suite La Dauphine, which has a small living room, spacious bedroom, and large bathroom with 2 sinks. The triangular corner bathtub has a good shower head; there was plenty of hot water; towels are thick and absorbent; toiletries included shower gel, lotion, and shampoo, but no conditioner. There were bathrobes and slippers... More

Arrived in Amboise in a rain storm, and even though we had a map, it was hard to find our way to hotel just a few blocks from downtown. A haven inside the walls of the Manoir, and easy parking in their gravel lot. No chance of swimming in their pool today, but we received a warm welcome from the... More

Very comfortable beds in spacious rooms. The hotel has a loads of character and is in a lovely walled garden very close to the town centre yet peaceful and quiet. The pool was closed during our visit but the weather was unseasonably cold and wet! . Great safe parking within the grounds. Isabelle was very patient and helpful , advising... More

We arrived at the hotel without booking and a highly welcome made our choice to stay. We went for the small suite with a double bed and a very comfy sofa bed for 3rd adult. Breakfast was made of a very refine local products and attention to details was outstanding. Cleanliness of the room, hotel and garden were 100% all... More

We recently stayed for two nights and had a good experience. The hotel is small and quiet. The rooms are decorated in a traditional manner, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The strawberry wine and handwritten note was a nice touch. My room faced the street, so there was a bit of street noise. I was not... More
