We are from China, this is our first time in France, Le Manoir Saint Thomas is an absolute surprise, the manoir is 500 years old, we have private parking in the beautiful garden, the host is very welcoming, we even got a handwritten greeting card. Great stay and nice memory in Amboise!

Room 7, a small upstairs suite, has garden views wonderful cross-ventilation and morning light. Situated at the rear of the hotel, it is also very quiet. Parking is secure within the gates of this 15c building with 19c stained glass; the staff was superlative: friendly and helpful to an astonishing degree. The town is ideally situated for visits throughout the...

We loved this! It was our romantic getaway from visiting family in Paris and we couldn't have asked for a lovelier spot. We especially enjoyed sipping wine in the garden under the cherry blossoms. It was close to everything, the rooms were lovely and I got the best sleep of our trip, and the staff very friendly and helpful. They...

Wonderful hotel in a great location in a perfect town. The manager (Isabelle) and assistant (Frederic) are so very gracious and helpful for anything you might want. The boutique hotel is in a historic building and has only 10 rooms. Ours was first floor and spacious with the best shower! There is no lift and 3 levels but staff willing...

This hotel is ok for 1 night, but I feel as though we were over charged for our room. We were in Amboise in late October which is considered off season for this part of France. While at the reception desk, another American couple stopped in to inquire about the rate for rooms. The gentleman at the front desk wrote...

Dear Eva T. I can't say thank you for giving us your feedback due to the contents of your review which only talks about the rate of the room: anything constructive for us. You really have had a room more expensive than the other couple of americans you talk about ; we don't want our prospective customers think we are...

We reserved the Catherine De Medici Suite for our stay in Amboise. It is on the main floor, room #1 right off the stairway. We are older and did not want to take our luggage upstairs. This is a beautiful facility with an outdoor heated pool. Our room was beautiful and quite large allowing for a very relaxing stay. Frederique...

We had a Junior suite which was a nice large room at the back of the hotel on the second floor. It was very quiet with no street noise. Clean well-appointed room and bathroom. The Manoir is on a square in the center of town and is @ a 10 min walk to the heart of the tourist area. Amboise...
