Again, I loved to stay with chain hotel as in my opinion they already have the standard. It's nice hotel with good room and free wifi. Dijon is a small city with nice view of old town. It will be nice for traveler to spend 1 night in this town. All about the hotel was good except for the breakfast.... More

The hotel was a modern well appointed hotel with a good sized room and was undoubtedly the best Mercure of the four we have recently stayed in. The staff were helpful and the parking was free. The bar was also well run.

Room was spacious and well equipped. Sadly one of the (decorative?) metal snails had fallen off the wall. The restaurant was trying very hard and the staff and the Maitre D were all busy, but wine was forgotten and gaps in service were slightly too long. Breakfast was adequate but not exciting. The courtesy of asking if you wished more... More

I was in Dijon for a conference across the street, so the Mercure seemed like a good choice. The rooms are comfortable, with good ac and good internet. But many systems in the hotel are failing including the elevators and the automatic room key - no one could open their bedroom door quickly, and we often had to call for... More

A good hotel for a short stay when travelling through France. We were here for two nights and spent a full day visiting the Burgundy wine region. The hotel was pretty much what one would expect from a Mercure Hotel. A light lunch on the terrace from the "Planta" menu on arrival was excellent and good value. Car parking under... More

Positives are clean and tidy rooms and free wi fi. Negatives are lifts not working and small, no iron in room, one bottle of water per couple over two nights, no ice machines, breakfast room crowded, showers slow to drain, restaurant expensive and not much on the menu, only two English TV channels, nearby restaurants do not have an English... We were with a Viking group at this hotel. It is in a nice location with small lobby but very comfortable. Our room was clean, roomy and had a view overlooking the pool area. It was easy walking to local restaurants and to the old part of Dijon. While we didn't have time to use the pool, it certainly looked... More

Decided to spend a weekend in Dijon and the Burgundy area. Booked this hotel because of its good reviews. What a very very pleasant surprise!!! Great staff: pleasant and always trying to help. The room was clean, beautiful and spacious. The superior room came with water, juices and soft drinks in the fridge - all free. The bed, shower were... More

Check in was fine, we arrived late so asked for somewhere decent to eat and were recommended somewhere only 10 min walk away and near enough to the hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had a little lobby which was great as it blocked out any noise from the corridor. Didn't eat here as only stayed 1 night,... More

Stayed a couple of nights in the Mercure. Located 500 meters from the city centre, hence an easy stroll into the touristy Dijon. Staff was friendly at checkin and provided a map showing us the best way to walk to the city. The room was large, modern and clean. Toilet and bathroom separated. The restaurant/bar has an outdoor seating area... More
