I would suggest a reservation at most Beaune restaurants on a Friday night, especially if you tend to eat dinner around 20:00 or later. The hotel is a 10 minute walk or so to the center of town. There are a couple of decent looking bistros on the street going into the center of town. One of them on the right side past the square across the street looked pretty good. Unfortunately I don't recall its name. I hope that helps.
