We only had one night in the Ernest apartment, but it was awesome. We had the communal dinner and I cannot begin to tell you what an amazing experience it was, sitting outside on the lawn and talking to other guests while being brought course after course of spectacular, fresh, home grown food. Breakfast was equally fantastic. You simply must... More

We recently stayed in this lovely place while on a visit to the Loire. We stayed here while on our way to Sancerre. I was here with my adult son and his girlfriend. We all loved our evening here. The "little chateau" is just beautiful, quiet and gracious. The grounds and flowers are beautiful. We had a lovely breakfast served... More

If you would like to experience the beauty of rural France I highly recommend this petite chateau. A beautiful facility in a lovely setting-such a nice place to relax after extensive traveling. Dinner is served at a communal table and the food is delicious. There is a scenic 1 hour hike right out the front gate. We felt most welcome... More

My wife and I were fortunate to stay with Nathalie and Stephane in their beautiful building and property. To say we were treated like good friends would not be an exaggeration. We shared a delicious dinner prepared by our hosts which rivaled any restaurant meal during our two week journey through France. Each morning the freshly made crepes and croissants... More

We stayed on the way from the Alps to Paris for one night with 3 children and we took the room 'Ernest' and all had dinner. We chose that the children would eat a children's menu first and then we would eat with other guests. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the children decided they were in a palace and... More

Our last-minute trip to Paris took us through Burgundy and without really knowing the area, we decided on over-nighting in Avallon, which is a wonderful little town. We relied on Tripadvisor reviews to decide on where to spend the night and we're stoked that La Cimentelle came up as #1 for the area, because it's a truly awesome place to... More

Our single night at La Cimentelle was a wonderful break from the business of Paris. We had a slow drove to the property in a hire car through some really beautiful countryside. The house itself was very comfortable and is situated in some lovely grounds. The hosts made us feel welcome and gave us a lovely breakfast of local foods... More

What a wonderful place. So nice to have peace and quiet after crowded Paris. Spacious old-fashioned bedroom with a lovely bed, lots of storage space, and a huge modern luxury bathroom. Delightful hosts, who really know how to cook. Best meal of our month long holiday in Europe, and an absolute bargain as well. The best breakfast too - all... More

A chance B&B, away from the crowds, rural with a beautiful setting.....romantic. We were fortunate that Nathalie & Stephane had a vacancy for us, at such late time in the day. Our room was spacious, with a hall at its entrance. A bath with shower attachment, basin, toilet with a door (if this is important). Our breakfast was served in... More

We stayed there for a couple of nights and took advantage of the cooking class and dinner. It was such fun. It was several steps beyond tasty. The room was lovely and very relaxing. Breakfast was on the beautiful sun porch. We highly recommend staying here.
