This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed. Thankyou Evelyne & Trevor for a special stay. Our room (on lower floor) was spacious and comfortable, and oh so peaceful. We enjoyed 3 nights, and included a very special Table d'Hote dinner prepared by Trevor. Highly recommended if you stay coincides with nights on offer.

This chambre d'hote is well located to explore the Burgundy region and offers comfortable accommodation in a beautifully tranquil setting. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished in a modern Scandinavian style with a door onto a private terrace and the elegant gardens. Breakfast was tasty with good coffee and a selection of pastries, as well as cereals and fresh... More

Incredibly beautiful, incredibly stylish and incredibly hospitable. It's like staying with friends. The stunning gardens are all maintained by Trevor, a very affable Englishman and the chic (black) pool is perfect for a cooling dip. We were in, I think, the cheapest room and it was lovely, with a gorgeous view, a stunning bathroom and the most comfortable bed in... More

Pulling up at the snow-white gates to the tree-lined path up to this vine-covered converted 17th-century watermill house on a golden late afternoon in July is hard to beat and truly took our breath away. The gardens (tended to by Trevor) are meticulously kept, with hundreds of butterflies and a bounteous herb garden are truly stunning, and the brook still... More

Very nice place to stay. Friendly owners, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Because they don't serve diner on wednesday the lady of the house served a very nice cold platter. Wine tasting with Trevor was excellent, good information in french and english. The location is lovely but far away from the highway, so one most drive a while before getting... More

I think we have just found our most favourite place to stay in France. Moulin is a spectacular building in wonderful surroundings owned by a really warm friendly couple. I am struggling to find the words to describe just how beautiful this place is. The building has been sympathetically restored and the interior decoration is incredible. The gardens are fabulous... I can concur with a previous reviewer that my only regret about staying here is that we didn't book for longer. It is quite simply the most perfect Chambre D'Hote I have ever visited (p.s. if you dont know what a Chambre D'Hote is, look it up before you travel in France and then complain about having to share a... Our only one regret about the Moulin was that we had only booked for one night. The house is absolutely beautiful, the gardens are immaculate, Autun was a lovely town, and Evelyne and Trevor do a wonderful job. It's a really lovely place to stay.

This B&B really is lovingly decorated, the rooms are generous and modern, the breakfast ample and yummie. The two owners did take care of us in a very charming way. If you are after a relaxing holidays - with ample things to do in the nature surrounding Autun (Morvan) - highly recommend! Autun, however, is pretty but the signs of... More

Perfect! There simply is no other way to describe this enchanting 'maison d'hôte'!!! The fairytale premises leed you into the characteristic moulin where you are warmly welcomed by Evelyne and Trevor among a well balanced mix of traditional and modern furniture, underlined by pleasant background music. The rooms are equally stunning as are the owner's cooking skills... So don't miss... More
