#35 of 82 hotels in Saint-Malo
The Manor, with its red timber frame is offers : 12 rooms - including 2 suites - surprisingly spacious, with sea or sea facing views, with terraces or balconies Amenitie for guests with disabilities (one room on the ground floor with a parking space), Brazilian marble in each bathroom, marine carpentry for bed heads... Here, the detail makes the difference, and calls to extend the halt, with an inclination to stay. Thanks to its privileged location, discovering the famous Corsair City is easy. It is 10 min walk to explore Saint Servan's treasures (restaurants, markets, theatre, beach cafes ...) All around, no lack of restaurants of any kind of range and specialities ( breton, sea-food and others)...

A very good room but unfortunately no lift in the Hotel. I was assured I would be able to park in the Hotel car park but failing that there was plenty of free parking opposite the Hotel. However this was not the case, as the Hotel park only had a few spaces and the area opposite was always ull. Therefore I was worried about taking my car out to sightsee and it completely marred our holiday. The Hotel closed early evening and there were no facilites to use and if when you went out for dinner it was necessary to enter by a back door which was dangerous because of a deep step inside. The staff sadly were pleasant but not at all helpful. Breakfast was basic and with no bar or evening catering it was an expensive trip, not to be repeated

Hello Poppy ..., I am very surprised by your opinion because it does not reflect any services that we put in place (room service, baggage carried and deposited in room for all customers, ...) but your opinion is not only alert us to an error that seems unjustified. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, our rooms are very spacious (over 25 m²), the restaurants are some of the best in St Malo and work only with fresh products (and cheaper than tourist areas that work with frozen products). Our breakfast is not basic, I selected local products (butter, yogurt, milk, croissants, pancakes, far Breton, etc ...) and quality regional products, but this did not suit you and in no case you can justify your knowledge of products (to see your comment on restaurants). For your comment on the entries at night, our establishment has no night reception and therefore you have a code to access the establishment outside of its opening hours (open from 7am to 9pm in September) . Apparently you will not come back and in any case I will not know who you were (the advantage of anonymity on unreliable reputation sites!). Good summer hot! Benoît (owner)

My wife and I stayed here overnight on a bed-and-breakfast basis prior to catching the ferry to Portsmouth the following morning. The room we stayed in was a luxury double room with a terrasse overlooking the sea and certainly ticked all the boxes regarding comfort and facilities. As there is no in-house restaurant, the owner booked us a table at the nearby "Le Cosy Braise" restaurant (see separate review) for that evening. The continental breakfast was as you would expect and set us up for the day. Highly recommended.

as a family we can only recommend this hotel. We were very kindly received at the reception and immediately received extra information about Saint Malo and the restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The reception is also always available to give advice on possible day trips. We greatly appreciated that. The breakfast is very well taken care of. The hotel itself is in a great location just outside the old town and with a view of the sea. This is really a top location with which you are not only fast in the city but can also use the location as a base for excursions in the area (cancale, cap fréhel, fort la latte, ...). We will definitely come back here.

Such a lovely hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Got given a map of all restaurants in walking distance which was very helpful. We had family room which was huge. Had two bedrooms and huge balcony with fantastic views of St Malo and the harbour. The room was very clean and spotless. Plenty lovely restaurants in walking distance over looking the sea. Breakfast was lovely too. Would definatley recommend this hotel. Very peaceful and just close enough to walk to St Malo city walls if you wanted to.

This was our second visit prior to catching the ferry home. You can actually see the ferry from the hotel. We had a ground floor room which had a great view of the sea and harbour. Very spacious. The hotel is yards from the beach and very convenient for the many local restaurants - though many were closed on a Sunday evening in October. A nice breakfast and friendly welcome. We will definitely visit again
