Situated within the walls of the old city and just a short block or two from the cathedral. Off season parking was easy and not too far away from the hotel. Historic old building dating back tongue 1600s but modernized and extremely clean. Friendly staff with recommendations. After 8 pm you let yourself in and out. Rooms are small and...

Thanks for your review. We're very happy you enjoyed your stay. We love your humour regarding the room. The joke is : our room was 15m2 (161 square feet) and the shower was 90cm (35,5 inches) compared with a large luxury cruise ship even if the name is Nautilus.

Kind and helpful proprietor; clean rooms; excellent location; highly recommended. I encourage all travelers to consider staying at Hotel Le Nautilus. Breakfast is included and hearty. The views, even not onto the sea, are charming on account of the quaint and unusual roads of Saint Malo.

I was only there for one night, but thought the location was very good. Convenient to everything, I was able to access everything both within the walls and outside. The room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast plentiful. No complaints.

The hotel is one of the few buildings which survived the bombardment of WW2 and is therefore unique. It is a small establishment but with a wonderful feel to it. The whole place was neat and very clean which was of priority to us. The owner was bi-lingual and made us feel welcome. To be honest, the shower was the...

The Hotel Nautilius, St Malo was a great choice. Clean, welcoming and wonderfully positioned in the walled city. We arrived at 8:30 am, hoping to drop off our bags but instead we were shown to our room, which was ready for us. The room was simple, bright and attractive. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very French...

Okay, it's not the Hilton, but please don't let that put you off. We stayed here for the first time on our first holiday in Saint-Malo three years ago. When we decided to go back to Saint-Malo again this year, there was only one mutually agreed choice for where we should stay; and it was here. The proprietors are so...

I stayed for 2 nights during a short city break to St Malo. I have a room at the top which was rather small due to the beams in it but it was lovely and more than enough space for 1 person. The location is perfect, 2min walk to the square with loads of restaurants, 5 min walk to the...

Clean room, comfortable bed, good location ideal for one night before the ferry. Colourful rooms are a bit dated in style but have everything you need, hotel does offer continental breakfast if wanted.
