We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here at the hotel and would definitely stay there again. Could not beat the location. Perfect situated intra muros. We drove here from Roscoff after getting the ferry from Plymouth and really appreciated being able to park in their garage around the corner. Fabulous smallish family-run hotel, large bedroom with super comfy bed and nice en suite with bath. Even though the shops and restaurants were literally on the doorstep it was quiet at night and we slept really well. Lovely continental breakfast with plenty to eat. We had juices, fresh pastries and bread/toast with eggs and there was plenty more that we didn't eat. No complaints and everything was very clean and well organised. Every day there was a jar of toffees in our room which was a nice touch. We love Saint Malo. It's a beautiful old place and I really recommend staying within the old city walls. Perfect for a relaxing few days. Photo is the view from our bedroom window at night.…
I was back again with a small group for the third time and was not dissapointed. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Saint_Malo Intra Muros. Rooms are nice and convenient. The breakfast is complete and offer crepes and locally made jam and Caramel au beurre sale. The team is great - the girls in the reception always have a suggestion for a local restaurant :) Thanks a lot and see you again next year.
We stayed one night ahead of an early morning ferry. The hotel is inside the walls and easy walk to everywhere. Hotel is immaculately clean. We had a family room which was beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. We used a parking garage opposite for €20 from hotel which made parking secure though it was tight getting in and out with cars parked opposite. The WiFi was a little slow. But minor points. A great hotel for a St Malo stay.
Lord help you if they have another heat wave. No a/c. And, it's OK if you open the windows, but then you get street noise until all hours. Partying to 3 or 4 in the morning. Very marginal free internet. small room small fridge St. Malo is a really great place to explore. Similar in some ways but less hilly than Mont St. Michel. One advantage: compared to other hotels in the area, this one does allow checkout at all hours, and this is necessary if departing at 5AM for the ferry. Minimal free breakfast provided. Many good restaurants in walking distance.
The location inside the walls of the city which is very convenient especially if you are traveling during rainy season. You will be not reached by rain on the way to the city ). The hotel has private garage which was very thoughtful to book because public parking was full inside the walls. The corridors are super narrow. You hardly can go through it with medium size luggage. WiFi is very poor.
