Very friendly and helpful staff especially reception staff. Pros: centuarly situated Very clean Good sized room and bed Hot shower. Cons: No air conditioning it was 31 degrees one night! ( reception did give us an electric fan but too small to effective). Very noisy due to late night and early morning revellers and traffic. We stayed six nights and... More

A well-placed, practical hotel within the city walls. We came very much at the last minute and were kindly recieved on the telephone while asking whether we could reserve a room. We were warmly welcomed and told all that we needed to know. The receptionist, who looked after us was called Nicolas and he was brilliant, giving us, among other... More

Stayed here overnight for the first time. Reception very unfriendly not very inviting . Tiny room in attic, shape of room made it very difficult especially when getting up through night to go to toilet, sloping ceiling , nowhere at all to hang clothes , nicest part was large size bathroom, smallest lift I have ever seen tightest squeeze ever... It was Ok and it was good value for money. The fact that there was no lift, should be clear when booking as we had to carry a lot of luggage up 3 small flights of stairs. Breakfast was Ok and the trendiness of downstairs was really cool. The LOCATION is the absolute best thing about this hotel. Somehow iIhad... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights as a solo female traveller and would highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent - it's approximately a 10 -15 minute walk from the ferry terminal and about a 20 walk to the train station so ideal for people only here for a few days. The hotel is located inside the walls... More

The hotel doesn't have elevators so its not suitable for disable people. The room we stayed is quite small but we understand because this is a budget hotel. (2 Starred hotel) the decoration in the room and the bar is lovely. They also use all in one face shower and shampoo which is very nice for the environment. The continental... More

What makes this hotel stand out is the great customer service, and helpful and friendly personnel. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and our car broke down right in front of the hotel. Nicolas and Alain helped us call the rental car agency, and talk to the towing service. When we were told to go to a local airport... More

The hotel is located within the old city walls near one of the gates in a refurbished old building. A few steps away is a row of restaurants that open till late. There is no elevator so if you plan on staying here do not bring huge heavy luggage in case you are assigned to a room that's not on... More

This Hotel is in a wonderfull location within the city wall. It is easy to reach from the ferry terminals, and central to all the attractions. It should have been a perfect short break. However, our room was on the ground floor with windows opening at waist height onto a busy street. It was very hot with no air conditioning... More
