This is a must stay place with great hospitaly, nice clean and modern rooms. I got bumped up to a room with a view which was great. De third floor rooms have a view over the city wall. The only drawback of the room was that the length of the bed was 190 cm with is rather small if you are 197cm.

Stayed for one night in the summer, and when I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the hosts. The hostess spoke English and gave me a small guide to Saint-Malo where she recommended local restaurants, stores, and bakeries. The hotel is in a different building than the restaurant. I was fortunate enough to get a beach side view and it was great to wake up with the ocean breeze. Room was good size for 2 people but I was mostly outside at the beach. Checkout was easy and they let me keep my belongings until 5pm. The whole staff was wonderful and helpful. I wish I stayed on Sunday so I can enjoy the brunch.

Was greeted by a lovely friendly lady who spoke good English and advised us of a lovely local restaurant. The location was fantastic and the breakfast ( across the road) in the bar opposite was lovely, with a great view through to the sea. Our room was clean and tidy with a great sea view but unfortunately was built with Quasimodo in mind, so avoid room No 3 if you’re over 5 foot (1.52m).

Stayed here overnight prior to our return back to the UK. The hotel is situated next to the ramparts in a good location. We were greeted by a very friendly, helpful young lady, giving an immediate positive first impression of what our stay would be like. Our room was on the second floor, up a winding staircase that some visitors may find challenging but we were fortunate to have a room with a sea view. The room was neat and compact, clean with a comfortable bed. The shower room was clean with a decent shower. As our room was on the rear of the building, we were not disturbed by any traffic noise throughout the night. Perhaps there may have been some nocturnal sounds internally before midnight drifting down the hallway from other rooms, but - hey, it was a saturday night in a romantic walled city in France. What is wrong with a little love to light up the world? Breakfast was served in the bar across the street. Again we were greeted by the lovely, cheerful young lady, once more setting the mood for a very enjoyable buffet style breakfast. Atmospheric mood music playing in the background while sat at a window seat looking out on a gate way leading to the beach, freshly baked bread and croissants, so French, so good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will return and thoroughly recommended.

We happened on this hotel by chance (wanting to rent bicycles) and regretted not having chosen to stay here (we had pre-booked another hotel). However we did hurry back for their wonderful, home-made Sunday brunch. It was a tasty, generous feast, prepared and served by the whole family. They were even able to respond favorably to my gluten-free requests!
