A friendly welcome awaited, which was pleasant after a 10 minute walk from the bus stop at Republique. We had a double room booked and I had not mentioned we had a mobility scooter with us. It is worth mentioning as only one of the 2 lifts could accommodate it without folding. Even then it had to be lowered down...

The rather ugly 60s or 70s facade seems inappropriate in the historical centre of Rennes, and the narrow winding stairs and tiny lift aren't the best, yet my smallish double room was fine. It had been fairly recently refurbished quite tastefully if simply. It offered a flat screen TV, bar frig, and provision for tea making. The bathroom had good...

Dear Thomas, Thank you for sharing this review with other travellers. That is true, our facade does not look at all like the other building around. Alle cover with glass which give an incredible view of Rennes from the rooms. Our rooms had been done up in 2015. Some are smaller than others. Since your stay, our corridors, reception and...

I arrived early so the room wasn't ready but the friendly receptionist offered to look after my baggage and helmet and, with the aid of a map, pointed out a few places of interest where I could amuse myself for an hour. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and, despite overlooking the market, surprisingly quiet. The helpful receptionist also...

Very nice hotel with small but comfortable, clean rooms, each with a balcony. Breakfast is basic but very enjoyable, the breakfast room can get crowded and use of an overflow room is sometimes needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many bars and restaurants within yards of the hotel and some historic buildings all within a pleasant walk....

This is a reasonable hotel - standard rooms but clean and reasonable. The big problem for us was that it was unseasonably warm (november) and the air con was not working so to cool the room down we opened the windows - the noise from the Place des Lices was really loud into the early hours.

This was not our first time at the establishment but we decided to opt for the Club Room which is located overlooking the gardens as it is much more tranquil than at the front of the hotel overlooking the Town below. At times especially Thursday to Staurday it can be noisy when people are partying. Overall the horel is great...

We've stayed here many times, and it's always been perfect. Located in the centre of the Old Quarter, with a large and reasonably priced underground carpark next door, access is excellent. We also see motorbikes are often parked outside the front door for security. There are hundreds of bars and many very good restaurants in the immediate area, offering pretty...

Only spent there 1 day. Booked standard double room but we got upgrade to superior without additional charge! Room was clean with good shower cabinet. Location in the historic centre just 5 minutes from parliament building. Didn't have breakfast so can not review on that

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Were I to base my review on the first night alone, it would get a "very good" rating, but the second night made that drop. First the pros: - Location is good - We got a room at the back like we asked - Room was clean - Bed was comfortable -...

“The newly renovated rooms are at the rear of the hotel and very quiet, the two of these we have stayed in look out to the garden, but the ones at the front are just as good, just maybe a little street noise which does not bother us but may bother some people.”
