I booked this hotel for my vacation in Rennes with a friend, the room is ok with sunset light in the morning and easy to get good scenes of a big square in the center. However, the internet is not so fast, sometimes it was disconnected.

The Hotel welcomed us early to leave belongings, and to our great delight gave us a room overlooking the Tour de France, with a perfect view. large clean room and bathroom. In hot weather, with windows open, street noise is an issue in any central hotel. Good breakfast, again excellent view and very spacious light breakfast room. Friendly staff lady...

This is a budget hotel, so one should not expect too much. The room we were given was clean and OK for our purpose. The breakfast is good. But the big problem that I faced was the poor quality of the Internet which seems to appear and disappear at will.

Could do with a major upgrade. Basic is the word to describe this hotel best. clean rooms. Comfy beds. Great location. Food very basic. Wifi available. Staff friendly . One lift for whole hotel, not ideal and lota of steps. Wouldnt stay here again but good hotel for its price!!

The hotel was very, very central to the city center...actually smack dab in the middle. My room #306, had a nice view of the city with a window that opened to face the city center. It was clean and comfortable. The carpets are a little worn and so was the sitting chair. But the bathroom was clean, and looked as...

The absolute positive is that it's in Rennes centre and is ideally placed for the TGV station (via a little underground which is opposite the hotel), for the old part of the town centre, and for restaurants/bars. Another positive is the plentiful breakfast in a bright and modern room, that the check-in/out was the simplest and swiftest ever, and that...

The location is great, walking distance to the city centre. Parking (public) outside. The rooms are cheap and a good size. It's fairly typical of a French city centre hotel - creaky floors and thin walls.

Is this really a hotel? From the street, you can't see inside. There's a heavy wooden door with electric locks. A fading notice tells you to press number keys on an intercom and, after a while, the thing buzzes and you can get in. There is no-one inside the gloomy entrance hall. There is, however, another miserable-looking notice. This one...

I spent one night in a double for single use at the Angelina Hotel. Very well located for visiting Rennes (roughly at the center of a walkable triangle formed by the old town, museums, and Parc Thabor), the Angelina is a quirky place. After being buzzed into a dark and rather uninviting lobby, one can take a tiny elevator (no...

As a family of three adults, we were looking for a hotel near the Rennes shopping district, that was fairly inexpensive and easy to get to. We found that in Angelina Hotel: right next to the buses, close to the subway, near to public parking, and just a short walk from the stores. The hotel is easy to find, although...

“I was in room 306. If you like a view, ask for that room or similar facing city center. Don't if you don't like some of the evening noise or bussle of the bus station across street. Housekeeping starts early, that can be a little annoying. Someone tried entering my room to clean when I was still in there, they didn't knock. Didn't happen again but just warning.”
