I came in this hotel last week for one night with one of my friends.. We choose this one because it's so close to the station where we've taken the bus for Mont Saint Michel! The room on the second floor was very confortable and the staff was very nice! The wifi service was good and there is the possibility... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my teenage daughter. Feels like recently renovated with new carpets and paintwork. Very minimalist rooms. Bathroom set up as a wet room. Tea and coffee provided but only 2 disposable cups. So quiet at night. Air conditioning great.

If you are travelling and need a cheap hotel for the night then this is fine, very close to the railway station and not far from place de republigue where most buses stop. Breakfast a bit of a bun fight, no pun intended, seating not very comfortable but standard continental breakfast.

The hotel is currently being renovated. Hence, the rooms are spanking new with crispy clean beds and brand new fittings and furnishings but the corridors and elevators leading up to the room are filled with dirt. The hotel staff are very helpful and warm. If you're planning to stay here, it would be best to book at this place in... More

After our first experience of a Campanile in Dijon on our southbound trip, we looked forward to the stay in Rennes, we were left with mixed views and the responsibility is Campanile's. If you advertise your hotel at least tell us that there are quite major renovations ongoing, I found that very poor! The basics were good, a good helpful... More

I visited Rennes for the weekend and stayed for 3 days/2 nights. The good: The hotel is very close to the train station and downtown. Everything you'd expect from a hotel, bed, soap, wifi, etc. The bad: They are cheap. They forgot to charge me 20 cents for a photocopy and on my last day asked me to pay up.... More

Close to the train station and car rental agencies. Our room was on the small side, but was quite adequate for our overnight stay. Restaurants located within easy walking distance. Breakfast included meat and cheese as well as the usual rolls, croissants, cereals, etc. Upscale it is not, but for the money we found it to be an excellent value.

Staff all pleasant and helpful. Room basic and rather badly designed, little wardrobe space or bedside space. No shelves or drawers. Benefited from air conditioning, triple glazing and a good bathroom. Only French channels on tv. Location near the station had both homeless and street workers. Several restaurants close by. Good points: very handy for the station and within walking... More

I have been on the road in France for two weeks and this is the best for the price that I have run across. Sizable room, price, cleanliness, staff, near-by restaurants (e.g.,See review of Le Cafe Noir), and parking. Also a plus, interesting people and neighborhood.
