Wonderful location in this Medieval town of Dinan. Love this hotel, nice breakfast also. Spent two nights, walked along the ramparts and down the cobblestone streets. Plenty of shopping and there is a weekly market day on Thursday mornings which has been going on for the last 700 years.

As befits their trip advisor rating this hotel have got their act together when it comes to customer service - the staff speak fluent english (and other languages besides!) and are helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is 8 euros a day (cheaper than the car park around the corner - so try and book in advance) and everything (including the Thursday... More

Booked with Brittany ferries deal & happy with our choice. Very central location which was perfect for us. Used the secure car park which we were extremely happy with. Had one room on the ground floor which was a good size, had good facilities, the only negative here was the passing traffic outside which was a bit noisy at times.... More

Pretty old hotel with charming staff and tasteful rooms. Its worth staying for breakfast especially if like us you have a long cycle ahead of you. The only slightly annoying point is that the road outside the room was surprisingly noisy so we didn't sleep very well but not much the hotel can do to fix that.

Dear Adelawilliams, We thank you for sharing here your experience in our establishment. It is, also, a real pleasure to read that you enjoyed our breakfast of typical and fresh products. Dinan is a lovely old, quintessentially Normandy town (even if it is in Brittany) definitely worth a visit, and close to Saint Malo and Brittany drives. My husband and I spent four nights here and stayed at the Hotel Arvor. The hotel is right in the old part of the city, close to shops and excellent restaurants. Prices are very... More

We stayed at Hotel Arvor as part of a couples long weekend in late summer. We did struggle with this place - mainly because we are not sure if it's a good hotel or not. Let me elaborate: On the outside, the place is totally charming and in a beautiful location in the center of the old town. At night... More

Stayed at this hotel which is in a super location, looks to be a super place, checked in late in the day, and yes whilst we speak English and understand limited French, you would expect, for a hotel in such a location that the reception staff would speak limited English and that we would be able to make ourselves understood,... Hotel Arvor is a lovely-looking small hotel located "in the heart of the medieval city", facing the historic Clock Tower. It's location is excellent and they have a tiny parking area (which MUST be booked in advance!) Looking at their website, you would imagine a "bijou Boutique" hotel. And it ALMOST is just that! Downsides are tiny, irritating, niggling little... More

We had a great stay in this hotel : quality of my room, friendly staff and fantastic " french breakfast" with its regional specialities. ( crepes, "breton cake". We highly recommend this hotel and will return in 2017.
