We booked this hotel from previous reviews on Trip Adviser and it proved to be perfectly adequate. The hotel was very clean and the beds most comfortable. Our room was spacious with plenty of hanging and shelf space. Breakfasts were OK but the scrambled eggs did not look particularly appetising. Typical buffet breakfast. The hotel does not serve evening meals...

The rooms had everything that we needed and the beds were very comfortable, so nothing really to criticise. Being an old army barracks they were just lacking a bit of character and looked functional rather than welcoming. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant and the place was very clean. Free underground car parking was a bonus. Breakfast was...

A former army barracks, the Connetable has thankfully been refurbished with a modern interior with access to spa facilities. It's strong points are on street parking (or paid secure underground parking in a dimly lit cavern), easily accessible on the edge of a town whose centre has been largely pedestrianised during high season, clean, comfortable king-size bed offered as standard...

Very welcoming staff. Lovely room with excellent facilities, newly refurbished. Good breakfast provided. Laid back and friendly atmosphere.the receptionist even organized a car to pick my son up at the airport in Dinard at a fraction of what it would have cost to get a taxi.

Located in the peripheral area of Dinan, it is a freshly maintained hotel which deserves a great appriciation. Staff always gentle and cooperative, the family room was large and very comfortable, in a modern way. Continental breakfast abundant with no aspiration to be a gourmet restaurant. Easy to find free parking around and very appropriate as a base to roam...

This was a great value choice for us, especially as there is free roadside parking outside. It's in a quiet and safe location just 15 mins (max) straight walk from the old city. Room was large and comfortable but smelt badly of stale smoke and there was no alternative available. There was also a minor problem with the bathroom basin...

We stayed here for three nights recently and loved it. Its a hotel that has been built inside an old army barracks so there is plenty of room……and its a nice and tasteful conversion. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to help us when we needed to find a doctor. Its a little way out...

Stayed for 1 night in a family room and was very happy - the kids sofa bed was made up when we arrived and both beds were very comfortable. The room was really big and very clean as was the bathroom with a wet room style shower. We had booked a car parking space, which was in the basement car...
