We booked a short 2 night stay in Carnan this hotel was not the one we did book. We were changed to the Tumulu on arrival to the or Gina one. As this had now shut out of season. But on arriving at the Tumulu it was a spa hotel and was not disappointed. Lovely friendly staff who could speak...

We chose this hotel on the basis of others’ reviews on TA. Arriving on a weekday afternoon, we were greeted politely in English by the male receptionist. Leading us to our room, on the way he showed us the locations of the hotel bar and restaurant, the hotel spa, the steam room (hammam) and the outdoor swimming pool. Our receptionist/guide...

A good hotel with value for your money. Only the meals and drinks are very expensive, but you can always go to Carnac center and eat and drink over there. And maybe some more umbrellas around the pool area.

I think this place can be a bit pricey, but we were there on the off season, so it was a deal and fantastically quiet and empty, looming over lovely town of Carnac from a hill with its own incredible ancient ruins, St. Michel's Tumulus. And off the backside of the mound, gorgeous, mysterious footpaths wind out through the countryside...

Built at the ancient tumulus St. Michel and surrounded by well manicured garden vegetation this hotel offers good relaxation and is close to visit the famous megaliths. Friendly staff though their English is uneven. The wifi did not work in the garden rooms; the manager was aware of the problem and promised to change the system.

Lovely older hotel on a hill, views - cozy bar- high end restaurant -very quiet - off the street- with kind good staff. We were there to walk around the standing stones, which were in walking distance from the hotel.

Just returned from a wonderful relaxing weekend here. Situated just a few minutes walk outside the town of Carnac this is a well run hotel with very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble be it the wonderful vegetarian dishes the chef prepared for me whilst hubby enjoyed beautiful fish and lobster coupled with...

We spent 2 nights here and it was delightful. The staff can't do enough to help and the hotel is so pretty. It is just off the town so one can walk in and enjoy the lovely shops and a few bars- where the locals talk to you! - a short drive away are the carnac beaches but they seem...

Very nice setting, convenient to Carnac centre. Quality of food good if slightly small portions. For main courses no choice within each menu. Room rather small and very poor standard, badly in need of refurbishment. Certainly not the "superior room" we booked.
