Hotel was perfect for the trip to Brest; within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. Hotel was to a hive standard and the room was great. It was also very quiet, which was an added bonus. Would stay again.

Hotel room was very clean, practical, quiet with a comfy bed. Best nights sleep I've had in a long time.😁 Well located shops and restaurants near by, helpful friendly staff and a great breakfast that caters for all.

Charming reception staff and comfy beds in superior twin. Unable to access English satellite channels as TV not HD ready. The room was uncomfortably hot and we were not able to adjust temperature down and ended up opening the window. The underground car park is away from the hotel and finding the hotel’s allotted parking bays was complicated. We were not able to try the restaurant as it was closed.

My family and I stayed at the Amirauté for 2 weeks. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The beds and linen were very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was professional and friendly - they made us feel welcome and helped us with every need specially Ms. Almandine at the front desk. The location was perfect close to everything but nice and quiet. We will definitely stay at l'Amirauté whenever our travels brings us to Brest. Merci beaucoup!

Very comfortable room with no noise from outside. The receptionist was more than helpful & made us feel very welcome. The breakfast staff were so pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The did there best to communicate with us and looked after anything that was asked for. The breakfast was beautiful with a great variety to choose from. Everything was fresh & very clean. Deffo will return one day.

Good quality on rooms and breakfast with value for money. Walking distance to many attractions in city center. Many restaurants close and even more at seaside. Close to tram tracks and short distance to railroad station.

I stayed in this hotel for one week with my twin toddlers and my mother while we visited my partner who was working in Brest. The hotel itself is nice enough but I’d say it’s definitely more suited to business travellers rather than for families. I would even say that we felt white unwelcome with our babies. Even though the hotel knew we would be staying with two babies for a week, there was only one high chair available, which meant that every morning at breakfast, I had to either feed only one baby at a time, or feed a baby in their stroller. My family own a hotel and if we knew that there were two babies staying with us, we would have ensured that we sourced another high chair, so it was very disappointing that no effort was made to accommodate this for the entire week we stayed. On the first night of our stay, we arrived quite late at night and hadn’t even made it into the room before a member of staff ran upstairs to tell us they’d received a noise complaint and asked us to be quiet. I did not feel that this was appropriate as we had only just walked down the corridor, and the staff member was quite rude. They then called again 5 minutes later while we were attempting to get the babies to sleep, and again another two minutes after that because the babies were crying. I understand that no one wants to hear babies crying in the middle of the night but we were clearly attempting to get them to sleep, and multiple calls were not helpful in that situation! I don’t think the rooms are very well soundproofed because we could hear lots of noise from the surrounding rooms, including conversations and furniture scraping. The rooms are quite nice and were always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was quite good but I would say it was quite expensive for what was offered. If you intend to use the hotel laundry service then be aware that it’s not available at the weekend or on Mondays. Most reception staff were pleasant and friendly. The hotel is in quite a good area as it’s only a short walk to the city centre and there is public transport nearby.

kindly and nice staff. I arrived at 12 at the hotel, but normally the room would not be ready till 3pm. They arrange quickly a room (at 1pm was ready), giving me the opportunity to refresh before to go to work. The hotel is renovated, very clean and I love the brand of the gel and shampoo. I have to thank that the hotel provides also conditioner (very good) and body cream, that it is great for the people who travel only with handbag. The restaurant great. Advantage: have own parking

Location is great, the hotel is very clean with good facilities. However the ac in the room never worked for the entire 3 night stay and it was quite hot. Had to get a fan for the last night. Breakfast was ok, but if busy, service of replenishing food/juices was a bit slow. Overall a nice stay.

A very modern hotel. Close to tram and therefore to major attractions. Room quite spacious. Bed large. Tv works. Great shower and other essentials. Superbly competent staff with genuine welcoming attitude. Airco hi quality. Extremely quiet throughout our stay.
