This grand hotel is a 15 minute walk from the railway station and right next door to the opera so very handy if you are performing there as I was. My room and bathroom were both vast and all very clean, neat and tidy. The bathroom was maybe ready for an update however and the shower was disappointing, alternating between...

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside & the reception area looks fairly decent. I had a car with me and I was disappointed to find that the hotel had no car parking spaces for its guests. I had a quiet room on the (top) 7th floor. The only good thing about this hotel is that the bed, mattress &...

Very disappointing stay here. I ended up going back to a Best Western because it was more comfortable!! Rooms were spotless and it was very 'grand', no doubt - but as a foreigner on a brief visit I expected more - no kettle (top on my priority list) and none available, no extra pillows, no electic outlets by bedside, very...

We booked 5 nights at this hotel for the ironman Vichy event. I had high hopes for a 4 star hotel and I am not very impressed. There are pros and cons about this place. The lobby and entrance is lovely. On arrival the staff was pleasant and we were able to check in early (contacted them early regarding this)....

Over Aletti Palace is a very nice hotel. It is a little bit dated but this added character. There's a pool and its in a great location, right beside the park and the river. All in all we had a pleasant stay apart from one staff member. The night porter who refused us food, saying the kitchen was locked. I...

Old, little faded and worn, but a very nice place, huge rooms at very reasonable prices. We were there for just one night, ended staying 4. Liked it too much. Very friendly and efficient staff, great pool and very nice breakfast. Wonderful location too! Not many guests, they deserve more. Go and stay there, you will like it!!

We just stayed there as a part of a bigger group and the ONE thing to say: they offered the best service I have experienced in the last years. Whatever you asked for, they did it or more, nothing seemed to be cumbersome, be it at breakfast, room-related, pool, etc. The hotel is in front of the casino and a...

This is an old style hotel, originally grand I guess. Receptionists are extremely good and helpful, service good all round. Our (superior) room was on the first floor, very large with a large bed, if slightly bare. It did not however have a safe in the room; don't they all have that now? Also there were no tea /coffee making...

I love, love, love this hotel! First of all, it's the last of the great palatial hotels in the city and If you have any taste it's the only place to stay. Don't expect a fully modernised environment, but, nonetheless, do expect to have the best stay in a hotel, imaginable. It's simply beautiful and charming, staffed with wonderful, helpful...

Perhaps Trip Advisor reviewers need to know a bit of history before staying this truly historic place. Vichy is a town like no other with a glorious Belle Époque past in the 19th century and its name besmirched by Petain's regime in the years 1940-44. And this hotel has played a part in both. Would cost the earth in London!...
