I went several times around the world and therefore stayed in numerous hotel. When I book this hotel to be close by the hospital my mother was staying in little I knew that this hotel was going to be an oasis among canicule conditions and my mom poor health. My room had the perfect size, it is smartly organized and very clean. The AC was perfect even thought the temperatures outside were over 100 deg F. They are genuinely pet friendly (they host two house cats). The staff at the lobby is super helpful (I had to extend and shorten my stay due to the fluidity of my mom’s health). The restaurant serve excellent food, they are very welcoming. Do not hesitate to interact with the servers. They welcome your dog with a bowl of water. I recommend taking your breakfast there. It is excellent with a lot of variety and nicely dressed. I recommend this hotel 100% and am extremely thankful having stayed there during tough time. I wish I can return there in better circumstances…
Booked this hotel originally expecting to stay 2 nights but switched to a B&B in old town for second night. Difficult to work out how to access parking on a rainy night. The twin room was very cramped and i suspect some of the occupants of the hotel were social housing! Breakfast was average but didn't like many of the staff smoking just outside restaurant area. Poor value for money.
Have a last-minute call made for one night on the way home. Located in a quiet area and close to the highway. Rooms are clean, despite the late entry a very warm welcome and important an enclosed car park.
I mostly chose this hotel because it was the closest to the university hospital - regardless of what quality could be, and in my mind, the Comfort chain was usually associated to budget hotels. Well in this respect my stay was a pleasant surprise by all standards. Nice staff at front desk, small but trendy lobby and rooms, high-speed WiFi, the restaurant is excellent with once again a nice, polite, smiling staff. Finally, variety and quality of the breakfast in the morning was largely above of a lot of 4 or 5 * hotels I stayed in the past. The location is probably not very sexy unless you have to spend your day at the uni or the hospital - but if you are there for business (and frankly, who the hell would go to Clermont Ferrand for romance?) especially in the south and medical district, the Comfort Hotel is just great, with excellent value for money.…
This is located at 6 tram stops from Jaude and that is quite a distance in the city. Being away from the city center, this is less crowded and less noisy. Even though Jaude is away, tram stop is right beside the hotel and that makes commuting very easy. Rooms are well maintained and we have a supermarket, a church and few eateries nearby. In house restaurant serves good food, for a price though.
We were a group of 9 persons, taking 2 apartements. The hotel is very quite, quite far from the center of the town, but near the tram station with a good acces in the center. Very clean, large room and arranged carefully every day. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, a big plus for the choice one might have.
Very comfortable bed and facilties within the room were excellent. Staff spoke English as my school boy French is nearly non existent these days. Unfortunatley the restaurant was closed but the manager on duty gave directions to a Pizza place 5 mins away, when we visited it, the maelas were reasonably priced and werte very tasty. parking was right next to the hotel and was free, however there is a car park behind the the hotle which is 6 euros per night.
A nice hotel with good facilities in a good location of Clermont Ferrand however during our stay the Air Conditioning was not working making it a very uncomfortable night for all. Hopefully this is just a case of it not working for one night.
The hotel is comfortable in a busy area of the city, with a reasonable amount of parking at the rear. The staff were very helpful and the room comfortable. As we were tired we decided to eat in and the restaurant was good and we had a tasty Italian meal. We also had an excellent breakfast in the morning. We only stayed for one night but would recommend it.
Room wonderfully clean and well kept. Toilet is with shower and hairdryer, all with well thought accessories needed in the bathroom. Quiet and calm room looking to the small courtyard. Pet friendly. I recommend.
