It was the last night of our two week travelling holiday and glad we stayed here. our room with the view of the park was lovely We ate in the (Grand Prix) restaurant outside and the food was absolutely fantastic, the lemon meringue dessert was especially wonderful Only gripe was about the pool, i understand from recent travels that for indoor pools guests need to pre-book slots, and like our time in other hotels we were happy to do this, but i think the additional charge of 20 euros per room to use the pool is not justified - having had a 5 hour journey to get to the hotel a dip in the pool would have been great, but 20 euros ? i don't think so breakfast was very good with good selection, set us up well for the day staff very friendly and helpful and very accommodating for our re-arranged travel plans…
We spent two days in Pau (regular room and one junior suite). The location of the hotel is great and the rooms modern with nice bathrooms. Wifi was great (important to our teenager...). Staff was helpful and very nice, especially in restaurant and bar. Hotel staff wore masks and tables in restaurant were spaced far apart. We always ate outside. I wish we had booked a room with balcony to the park like last time. Will come again!
Great location at the heart of the city, and at the same time in a lovely park. Clean, spacious and luxurious room. The spa accommodations (swimming-pool and sauna) are very enjoyable. I highly recommend the breakfasts! The staff of the hotel has always been there to help us and has been very responsive towards our enquiries. Definitely a place to go and go again :)
The staff of the hotel did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable in spite of the curfew. The in-room meal service was excellent, and they made a special effort to provide an early breakfast on my day of checkout. The hotel is excellently situated, overlooking a park but close to the centre of Pau.
A very nice, well kept hotel in the center of Pau, located in a great position with easy access to the town. The rooms are great, the restaurant setting is very nice, and the food was absolutely amazing! Our only issue was the actual service in the restaurant, it was very slow, and very unorganised. The worst part being when they bring out your main dish and they have still not cleared the starters away after fifteen minutes.
We love this wonderful hotel and will definitely use as our stop off on our drive down to our house in Spain always. It’s absolutely beautiful and the staff are all so lovely. We were very kindly upgraded again to a park view with a beautiful balcony. The room is large and wonderfully appointed. On site parking and perfectly located. We travel with our dog and they make her so welcome. She’s fast becoming very accustomed to this gorgeous five star hotel!
Fab location next to the park, ideal for those travelling with dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. While the restaurant is expensive, the food is excellent. The bar food is a great alternative too. We stayed in a basic room without a balcony which was comfortable and much cheaper but if you can afford it, go for the balcony! Parking easy and it's about 1km from the chateau with plenty of wine bars and restaurants nearby.
While this hotel is not exactly in the old town center it is located on a beautiful park, and only about 5 minutes walk to the town center. There is ample parking, the staff is fantastic. ( Many speak English), and the rooms are extremely clean. Our first room looked over the residential homes in the area, ( very nice,) but they moved us to a park view room with a balcony, even better. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.
We spent one night in this hotel and it was excellent. There is an outdoor free car park or a garage for which they make a charge. From the minute you walk into reception you are made to feel very welcome and it's obvious that this hotel goes the extra mile. We had a lovely room overlooking the park, modern, clean, excellent facilities and a very large very comfortable bed.The bar staff are very good and serve drinks with care and attention. We are in the hotel's restaurant and the 3 course dinner menu is great with a choice of 2 items on each course. There is a great wine list which we found to be reasonably priced. The spa are is very nice and my husband enjoyed swimming in the lovely pool early on the Sunday morning. Breakfast is buffet style with a very good selection, but if I had one criticism it would be that all components of hot breakfasts should be cooked to order. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre so location is also excellent. Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would definitely book again.…
Booked 3 nights here as we wanted a nice place in a larger town close to our hiking in the Pyreness. it seemed a little more business oriented and we were definitely tourists in our hiking attire, but never felt out of place. M Gallery definitely knows how to treat the guests. We booked the memorable site room 402. Loved how it curved around and looked out at the pyrenees and the parc. Beautiful terrace. Excellent decor. Staff was amazing on check in and after. Breakfast buffet was good although by the 3rd morning we grew tired of it, but that is not their fault. We hiked the pyrenees and also visited the city and they have excellent hiking trails all around.
