I am a regular visitor to Pau, and I always stay at Hotel Bristol. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. And the location is perfect for access to restaurants, beautiful walks along the Blvd do Pyrenees, and the Chateau.

This is my second stay at Hotel Bristol. The first was 6 years ago. I should have returned earlier to this exceptional hotel which I have never forgotten. The location is central within Pau, with good car parking available within the hotel grounds. The rooms are uniquely decorated, very comfortable/chic with good space and facilities. The staff / owners are...

The Bristol is in the centre of Pau. It is a grand building with a small lift. Rooms are clean and comfortable and each seemed to be different. The impression was that most guests were traveling business people. We spent 4 nights here. It is a good base to explore the region. There is a comfortable large lounge and a...

It's in the centre of town with parking so very convenient for the shops and restaurants. The beds are comfortable and although it's basic it's nicely decorated. The proprietors are on hand for any queries or questions.

More like a quality B&B, than a hotel the Bristol is well situated in central Pau. With it's own private parking our motorcycle was secure. The welcome and general service was friendly and effective. Our room was of good size, air conditioned and the bathroom well appointed. In all an excellent option.

The hotel is in a great position for central Pau and a great location from which to explore the Pyrenees. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hosts were great and very helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable but could have benefited from tea and coffee making facilities although drinks were available on the terrace that fronts the...

Historic building with modern comfort inside. Located in down town, walking distance for restaurants and Chateau de Pau. Parking with no cost. Air conditioning in rooms, free wi-fi, spacious rooms with modern bathrooms. The couple in charge of the hotel are very friendly with good suggestions for visiting and eating, they are great with kids. Nice regional breakfast.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Enjoy a very satisfying European breakfast before continuing your visit or leaving on your journey. Our whole visit both to the hotel and Pau was delightful. Our introduction to the city was enhanced by the kind help of the proprietors.
