Over the years we have stayed here several times in both the hotel and in mobile homes, having visited first with our kids, then as a couple, and most recently with my elderly father. We like the site - it's so friendly and spotlessly clean. This year we stayed in a mobile home- small but well equipped although with temperatures...

My husband and I stayed here the first week of June 2010 and loved our stay! We didn't expect much, but being 'no frills' people we were more than pleasantly surprised! I haven't seen other one-star rated places with such charm and country ambiance - it felt like we were staying in a little old-fashioned French village. We slept in...

The camping looked wonderful and the pool/area was very nice, but the room left quite a bit to be desired and do not try to use the laundry machines! Walls were super thin and I felt like I was sleeping ON the road running next to the inn with all the road noise in my room. Room was poorly laid...

La Riviere, is a campsite restaurant and small hotel, we stayed in the hotel rooms. Although the room was small and basic it had all we needed and expected. The walls are very thin (The hotel was empty apart from 2 other at our time of staying, this maybe a factor if busy). The site has a lovely big swimming...

We picked this hotel to base ourselves out of while we checked out the caves and river. Room although of a basic standard was very clean and comfortable and had it's own ensuite. Didn't get any noise from the other rooms. The place has excellent facilities including a great pool and very nice alfresco dining area for the warmer months....

Our troubles with the Hotel La Riviere started as soon as we opened the door to our room and the a stench of raw sewage hit us. After leaving the bathroom door closed for some time the room was somewhat more tolerable, although being in the bathroom was very unpleasant. Luckily we only planned on staying one night because the...

We stayed in the semi-funky but recently furbished or converted (can't say if was "re-" or not) hotel part of this camping place, Sept. 2005. It must be very active during the season with families and kids, but was relatively empty when we were there. No significant soundproofing detected in the room, but nicely decorated. A terrific bargain, nice, nice...

“The family room is right next to the road. We didn't find it noisy though, although it's a few years ago when we stayed in the hotel itself.”
