Friendly, relaxed vibe. Lovely, helpful team. Beautiful decor, well maintained in a great location. Lots of choices for breakfast and flexibility on time. Great facilities with the hamam and wine dispenser/cellar. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
There was literally no detail about this property that we did not enjoy! Our room was fashionable and very comfortable, and more spacious than we needed. The staff, to a person, was accommodating and gracious. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Thank you Lucie, Colleen, and Clothilde!
What wasn’t to love about La Course? Everything was immaculate whilst at the same time feeling homely. The staff are fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Personal and chic
La Course is a perfect house in a great neighbourhood close to the city centre whilst also having a lovely neighbourhood feel in Chartrons. The team looked after us so very well. There is a wonderful wine tasting room in the cellar. Access to bicycles is a great touch and a great way to explore the city.
An incredible place to stay - we could not recommend more. The attention to detail in the rooms, service and staff are exceptional. My husband and I booked the family room as we travelled with our 2 year old son and it was perfect. Really good location and loved the wine cellar!
La Course is hands-down the best place to stay in Bordeaux, maybe even France. This was our second stay here and we loved every minute of it. We actually opted to stay in most days simply because it was so relaxing and inviting (and it was cold outside). The staff at La Course is always exceptional - easy to talk to, accommodating, and very friendly. We will always have a place in our hearts for Bordeaux and for La Course. We look forward to returning soon!
My son and I were very happy with La Course. This boutique hotel (or guesthouse) is extremely beautiful. It makes you feel staying at home with living room, lounge and kitchen area. I booked a room with a king bed and a bunk bed which is very suitable for a family with up to 2 kids. The room fit outs are superb. The room size is very generous, I can open three standard luggage up and still have space to walk around. There are vintage furniture and decorations to admire. The bedding thread count match that of many-star hotels. Complimentary local Bordeaux sparking and still bottles of water in your room. Thank you Lucy. You hospitality is much appreciated. I look forward to coming back!
We loved this cute, comfortable and very well located boutique hotel. Only 6 rooms, all different…The hotel is very clean and follows all Covid guidelines. The staff that works there goes above and beyond to make travelers feel welcomed and at home. Highly recommend this place
We spent three nights in this wonderful gem of a house in Bordeaux. The rooms are not large but are exceptionally well appointed and tastefully decorated. The house provides lots of lovely common areas to sit and drink wine or coffee, and since there are only five rooms it feels very private and personal. The breakfast is top notch and offers a wide variety of options which is relatively uncommon in France. There are coffee, wine and cake by self-serve all day and night. My husband also made very good use of the downstairs steam room. The basement gym is tiny so we didn’t bother with it but it would work in a pinch. The real stars of La Course however are the completely remarkable, charming, gracious and endlessly helpful young staff who run the place. They all seem to love their jobs, to enjoy meeting and talking to guests and they appear to multitask at an exceptionally high level … calling cabs and sorting Covid tests and arranging restaurants, but also making breakfast and carrying heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs and literally rushing to carry bicycles in and out of the building. Delightful, refreshing and adding an upbeat ambiance of optimism, cheeriness and youth to every aspect of the property. We also loved the gorgeous and totally comfortable vintage bikes! This is the best way to see Bordeaux! We took them out every day and rode them to dinner or whatever we were doing. This is a marvellous place to stay in Bordeaux and we will be looking for their other boutique hotels when we travel to other destinations in Europe.…
Truly 5* experience This is special place. Everything is well thought out. The stying is superb but also cosy and welcoming. The staff made you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Highlights were the wine dispenser with wine so good we brought a bottle , comfortable bed and great location close to town. We will return
