This is a small boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Bordeaux. Many attractions were withing walking distance of the hotel, including many excellent restaurants. The room was immaculate and decorated with crafty whimsy that was tasteful. The breakfast was also good, a typical French layout of cured meats, bread and homemade jam, etc. When we arrived in Bordeaux we... More

We stayed only 1 night in the hotel, got the room on a first floor with a small balcony facing the street, the room was very nicely furnished and decorated and pretty quiet with the comfortable queen size bed. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a few minutes walk to the Bordeaux city centre. The receptionist lady... More

Madame, Thank you for taking time to write a review. Indeed, you are staying in a double room upstairs without lift, with a balcony overlooking the street, and costs 115€ per night. You have not been bothered by outside noise. It's a pleasure for us that you enjoyed the hotel's decor and the welcome at reception. Hope to see you... More

Spent two very comfortable nights at the Maison du Lierre. Our room was on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel with a patio sitting area in the enclosed courtyard. Room is fairly small but the bed was very comfortable and the room had good, quiet AC. Staff are all lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and... More

Having had a lovely stay in a different B&B last year I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We had a room at the front overlooking Rue Huguerie but had no problems sleeping at all, the room even had a lovely little balcony which you could stand out on and take in the air. The rooms... I loved my stay at Maison du Lierre! The garden was a beautiful, tranquil place to have breakfast in the morning. The hotel had a deal with a nearby parking garage for a reduced price. Very good location for exploring the city of Bordeaux by foot!

Lovely hotel, with just a few too many stairs and no lift, however they do have a lot of ground floor rooms as an extension to the rear over looking a tidy planted garden. Monsieur, Thank you for taking a moment to review La Maison du Lierre. You were in a room upstairs. It is true that access is only by staircases.
