After looking for a place to spend the night close to the centre ville in Bordeaux I stumbled upon this chambres d'hotes or B&B. I was curious to know why they didn't show a view of the outside of the place, but upon getting there I discovered that it's a long and narrow space with nothing remarkable about the outside,...

I stayed at L'Invitation Au Voyage over the weekend with my husband, mum and aunt. The rooms were wonderful, we had the Port de La Lune and my mum & aunt the St Domingue (which can be set up as a twin room) - these were together and had their own private corridor. Our room was the smaller and overlooked...

Great location. Lovely house. Fabrice is knowledgeable, friendly and happy to share recommendations. We rented the flat on the top floor - great for families or just having a little space to spread out. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend. Alice Eastman + Family

We have just come back from a two night break at this hotel. Everything was great, Frabice was a great host and couldn't do enough for you. Very clean room with quirky decore, nice breakfast and in a great location.

Beautiful and large room and nice breakfast. The building is interesting and the parking place is around the corner, which is very convenient. I recommend this place for anyone and will stay there again in my next visits to Bordeaux.

Fabrice was very welcoming, served a delicious breakfast each day and was very helpful arranging details of our trip. Beautiful house but make sure you are ok with stairs as their is no elevator. Good location for all wine country tours and not too far from the center of Bordeaux.

A very nice boutique B&B in the heart of Bordeaux. Fabrice provided excellent communication during the booking phase - all details were carefully provided. We had a car with us - it is very advisable to book a parking place in advance. The car park was just around the corner - I'd guess quite rare in the heart of Bordeaux....

Wonderful 3 night stay at this boutique hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you need - toiletries, tea/coffee/hairdryer/fantastic towels and bedding etc. Excellent location, within walking distance to all the Bordeaux city centre sights. There is also a tram stop just around the corner, for rainy/lazy days! Fabrice, the host, was most welcoming and couldn't do enough for...

We spent 6 nights at L'invitation au Voyage. What a wonderful place to stay in a fabulous city. Fabrice is a great host and so helpful. There is little to add to the comments that others have made about the location, the accommodation, the food. All good! Do consider as a place to stay. You won't be disappointed.
