Having picked up the keys from the hotel round the corner and worked out how the entry code worked we found one of the typically small French hotel lifts to take us to the fourth floor. The room was merely functional - quite small but with just about all you need. Breakfast takes place at ground level. If the room... More

Was slightly surprised on arriving to find a sign telling visitors to go to the hotel around the corner, but Hotel L'Opera and 4 Soeurs apparently interconnect, and are run as the same place. Good reception staff. Room basic, but spotlessly clean, if in need of updating. Bed on the firm side for my preference. One thing you will not... More

The key to your hotel room has to be picked up from another hotel just around the corner. You get a code and key to enter the hotel de l'Opera. The rooms are very basic but clean. Since it's in a very central location, there is some noise from outside. For a quiet night, close the windows! We had a... More

This 'hotel' if you can call it that is an annexe of a hotel round the corner. Room 501 which we were allocated was not fit for purpose unless you have been convicted of a heinous crime. Barely larger than a prison cell and extremely claustrophobic, dirty with threadbare carpet and the electric socket hanging off the wall. I complained... More

There's nothing flash about this hotel (I suppose that's what comes with cheap rates) but the location is superb. No need to use public transport as the hotel is located in the city centre within walking distance of all main attractions. Hotel staff were super friendly but beware check in is at a different location, just around the corner so... More

Great location just in front to the opera. The room is Basic and clean room equipped with a tv. I found it a bit expensive for what you get. I would not stay here for more than 2 nights. There is no reception in the building so you should go to the reception of another hotel just around the corner.

Hotel de L'Opera is perfect located just opposite the theater. There is no reception at this hotel so we had to walk around the corner to hotel nearby office de Tourisme to get the key and the code for the door. The room was in the second floor with a view to the theater. It had also a small balcony.... More

If you want luxury in your hotel this is NOT the place for you! However, if you spend no more than 8 hrs in your accommodation each day then this offers good value. Basic rooms with en suite facilities, good continental breakfast in great city centre location. Tourist office and good choice of restaurants within striking distance. It's all about... More

The hotel is very well located. Service is impeccable and professional. A new bar has just opened close to the hotel and it's quite loud at night but the management is trying to make sure that the bar acquires sound proof wall to ensure guests at the hotel have a good night sleep. Altogether, it was a nice stay.
