This was hands down the best service we have ever had in a hotel. The staff here are superb. Every member of the staff from the concierge to the hotel wine bar/restaurant to the housekeepers took pride in making sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The location is perfect and close to the city center, most restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. The hotel was very clean and the rooms we beautiful and updated. When we hopefully return to Bordeaux, we will only stay at Le Boutique Hotel!!!!
The Boutique Hotel is in the western part of downtown in a bustling, active neighborhood. The hotel itself is housed in a finely restored mansion and is wine-focused, with rooms named after famous chateaus. The historic mansion is filled with centuries of rich history. It was here that Count Pierre-Denis de Peyronnet was born, a famous notable from Bordeaux who was a minister under Louis XVIII and then Charles X. The opposition seized the property during the French revolution. After the war, kings returned, and the Peyronnet mansion became a favorite hangout of France’s top literary giants, including Victor Hugo and Alphonse de Lamartine. Rooms are upscale with stone walls and parquet floors. The furniture has been designed by top French designers. The stone courtyard has been planted with several French grape varietals. This five-star hotel has twenty-nine rooms, loaded with all the modern upgrades, technology, WIFI, Italian showers and jacuzzi tubs, and air conditioning (something not always found in humid, balmy Bordeaux). The modern bathrooms are stocked with Hermès brand welcome products, and nothing has been left out to ensure that guests are comfortable and happy. My room was exceptionally exquisite, located on a top floor with a private terrace and outdoor bathtub. The terrace had an exceptional view of Bordeaux rooftops and cathedrals in the distance. Many of the old buildings were reminiscent of buildings in New Orleans.…
This hotel was so helpful, friendly and very chic! We went for our honeymoon and Louise and the rest of the staff at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay as wondeful as possbile. They had excellent resturant and winery reccomendations. We felt very at home and well taken care of. A must stay if you're looking for a clean, fabulous and friendly place to stay in Bordeaux!
Wonderful stay. The staff are outstanding . They are personable, knowledgeable and ensure their guests feel welcome. They managed our dietary restrictions , recommended restaurants and ensured our stay was thoroughly enjoyable . The hotel is beautiful and well located.
We enjoyed our stay at Le Boutique Bordeaux. The staff was very accomodating and made sure we were well taken care of. The concierge service was excellent and gave us many helpful recommendations. It is well located for you to walk to the interesting locations of Bordeaux. The only thing that could improve it would be to have its own restaurant to serve dinner.
Spectacular visit that exceeded my expectations. I was traveling for a work congress and despite my short stay it made me feel like it was the best holiday I could expect. I huge thank you to the staff and another big compliment to truly luxurious facilities
We rented a car in Bordeaux and drove north to stay with friends for four days. So when we returned to Bordeaux we were concerned with finding parking while staying at the hotel. Much to our pleasant surprise, we pulled up to the front door and a gentleman unloaded our luggage and took the car and parked it for us! Check in smooth. Room beautiful and comfortable. Buffet Breakfast each morning substantial. Close to public transportation. Staff outstanding, those I remember most, Paul, Michael and Louise. Thanks to all!
Very nice small luxury hotel! Excellent location, close to the center of Bordeaux, walking distance to all of the best restaurants and shopping!! Our room was excellent, larger for European standards, with excellent quality bedding. Best of all was the hotel staff! They are very friendly, helpful and very attentive to the guests needs. At the end of our stay, our taxi to the train station was running late, putting us at risk of missing our train to Paris. One of the hotel staff was getting ready to drive us in his personal car, just as the taxi finally arrived. This is a great example of how they go that extra step to ensure everything is fantastic during your stay!!
We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel with friends and had an amazing experience. The hotel is small and cozy, but not when it comes to service and attention to detail. The concierge, the front desk and all staff are friendly, attentive and pleasure to be around. The hotel is clean with nice decor and good breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay and experience.
I always like finding boutique hotel gems when I travel in Europe. Great location. The room was very nice, with a great bed. The staff and service were excellent, and I had my best valet parking experience ever. When choosing a room, check the hotel website's room descriptions... some of the rooms have unique features, like jacuzzi tubs.
