We just had three nights in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were all unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Most speak English but we're very patient with my New Zealand version of French. The hotel is well situated within walking distance of the main attractions but is on a small side street which gives a sense of peace... More

We stayed two nights at the Majestic before heading South and really enjoyed our stay, as well as the City of Bordeaux. The location is fantastic within an easy walk to the attractions and great restaurants. Our room was very spacious, super clean, and nicely decorated. Bathroom was modern with a walk-in shower as well as a tub, and plenty... More

I stayed with my wife here for a night recently, which had to be extended due to an air traffic strike. The desk staff were unfailingly helpful in dealing with this and the need to deal with work related telephone meetings which arose. My command of French is patchy but they all speak English well. Our Privilege room was large,... More

This hotel is very central - 2 minutes walk from the tram lines and 2 minutes from the Grand Theatre. It is an exceptionally clean hotel with a good breakfast and attentive staff. I would recommend this hotel for a city break to Bordeaux.

Location was excellent, just a block off the Place de Tourny with its underground parking garage, and near the Grand Theatre. The hotel appears to have been renovated in recent years and the standard of decor., bed, salle de bain etc is quite high and in good taste. Good buffet breakfast as well. We were very satisfied.

We stayed for Wales versus Slovakia game, Euro Championship 2016. Super place. Highly recommend. Ideal central location for trams, waterfront, shopping, bars & resteraunts, etc. Lovely linen and fittings.

Finding parking to check into the hotel was a problem, but once we wedged into the tiny hotel parking space, all went well. Not the most friendly service, despite my speaking fluent French. Reception kept trying to steer us to upscale shopping and couldn't really advise us towards off-the-beaten-path areas or sites. She couldn't recommend any restaurants. (?!) Breakfast was... More

This hotel was in an very good location near the town centre and the bay front. Staff were friendly apart from the one who told my colleague off for slamming his bedroom door too loudly when it was clearly the door that was the problem. There is no bar in this hotel. Breakfast was fine continental style and well presented.... More

The hotel is a gem. It's right in the center and had car parking which was secure. The room was great and bathroom clean and tidy. We only managed breakfast once, but that was fine too. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They even posted my shoes back as I left them behind. Certainly happy to recommend this hotel!

Enormous room, sparely decorated in brown tones, good quality linens and toiletries, reliable WiFi. A pair of oversized French doors led to a pleasant balcony with views of the Grand Theatre. Good breakfast.
