The restaurant breakfast was excellent also the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. A great place to stay in this quiet and wonderful hotel. We had great restaurant recommendations and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff.
Lovely room and good housekeeping. The area is very nice and the view from our room was great.
The staff were especially lovely and helpful, someone even made us a generous tray of snacks in the middle of the night.

Take the tram towards Cite du Vin, (buy a day ticket) and walk back along the river. The bus tour was also good for giving an insight into the history of Bordeaux - tickets on sale at the tourist office. Commentary was in excellent English. Brasserie Orleans, close to hotel offered good value menu, great service as well, spoke good English.
